Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour, 1.25-oz (37ml), Paynes Gray

Beautiful rich and smooth color.

I love the ease of cleaning brushes and mistakes with just soap and water.

Winsor and Newton makes great water mixable oil paint, maybe not as good as COBRA, but they can hold their own if looking to save a little money.

First time using oil paints and the consistency is weird also when you open it at first some oily yellow stuff comes out it feels like it's just not mixed with the paint. Also pretty difficult to use without a medium, the consistency is not so smooth. I am not sure if I'm going to buy this one again.

I have been using this product for sometime. I had previously painted with regular oil paint. I liked the paint,but I didn’t care for the odor of the thinner that was used to clean the brushes. Both the paint and the thinner were provided by the teacher. The thinner or turpentine provided was supposed to be odorless. I found some water soluble oil paint at a local store, but they only offered small starter sets. I tried one and liked it, so I began using it. I looked to Amazon and found this paint. I had used products from this brand before, so I tried them and have been using them since. I have been very happy with them. I can paint at home without causing problems with chemical odors when I clean up. Thanks

Thick and creamy water based oil paint, great colour…I have several of this brands colours.Will stick with them.

This is excellent paint. Every bit as good as regular oil paint.

A lovely texture to this oil paint not too oily! One of my favorite colours for 'water features' in my oil paintings, brushes on the canvas beautifully!
