FoodSaver GameSaver Wingman Plus Vacuum Sealer, Camo by FoodSaver

This is my first vacuum sealer and I'm really digging it. I don't hunt but I do like the heavier duty motor in this unit for a great price at around a buck twenty. Cheaper than the regular home models with the not as strong motor. Works like a charm. Some tips I learned on-line -. Cut oversize for multiple reuse. Wrap items in saran or a ziplock before putting them into a sealer bag so you can cut them out just before defrosting to keep 'em clean for re-use. When using a ziplock I cut a straw (yes plastic) about 1/2" and have it sit across the sealing grooves of the zip so the vacuum can suck the air out of the sealer bag and ziplock at the same time. I also save foil potatoe chip bags and use them for sealing... works great!! I had to ship items to my daughter so I used them with just heat sealing and not the vacuum feature to make nice shipping bubbles to secure what's inside. Oh and also they say to freeze something like fish for a bit just to chill up any juice before putting them into a sealer bag to keep it from seeping out of the bag before vacuuming.Overall I like this unit and have no negatives about it. I was tired of stuff going bad and being thrown out, especially with the prices of foods, and it just bothers me to do so. Anyway my lifestyle is veggie garden, hunting and fishing. This little machine owes me nothing after only 6 months. I completely filled a deep freeze with garden stuff....wild game...etc.I have never had any issues with the machine itself, only with some of the rolls of bagging material. Small cuts on the edge of the roll acted as if the machine would not seal. Tried new bags and no problems.

We had the bigger version of the Foodsaver sealer (V4400) and it just died on us. We looked up reviews on youtube and found this little guy. After using it many many times and for no less that 20 bags in one go, I can honesly say that if this one dies on us, we'll be getting another one just like it. It's easier to use, you save time cause is very simple to learn, you save on your bags cause you can actualy see where you are cutting but also where you are sealing! Great buy and for the price, you won't find better.

I love my Gamesaver. I had the Foodsaver previously and it was weeeeelllll loved. It processed a LOT of meat as we are a hunting family. It owed us nothing when it died. I love the fact that we can do repetitive seals without damaging the machine and ease of transport. It’s so convenient to just grab and go knowing you have everything you need inside. (But we always have an extra roll of bags as well)

I had an older FoodSaver that had just run its course so I decided to go for a new one. This one is very handy that it holds the rule inside of it. I live in a small place so every bit of storage is well needed. Works great, no complaints so far
