Lightweight enough to use directly over flowers.
I used this product to protect newly planted pansies from a heavy rain and windstorm. Thay really protected the plants and the plants were not injured even thought I put the covers directly on the plants.

Just what I needed
Good mesh for protecting tomato plants or any other fruiting shrub from bird attacks. Would be good for strawberry plants too. Keep those cute little bunnies from nibbling on the ripened berries.

Good quality
I got the landscape pins to put down because we live where it’s always windy, used sticks to keep the mesh from sitting onto my plants

Absolutely the best deer protection for gardens.
I use these floating row covers over three seasons. They are quite durable, allow water and light to pass through if you don't want to remove them. This is my go-to deer protection for my garden - no sprays, pellets, etc. They are easy to roll or fold for storage and super light weight.

Great product for covering plants to protect from frost and wind!
I most appreciate the various sizes in which I could buy this product and the affordability. I could buy one package to cover my front flowerbeds. I just had to cut the fabric in half. I live in a very windy place, and this fabric withstood 60 mph gusts by using stakes along the edges every foot or so and clothespins clipped every foot or so (I had a rope clothesline suspended above my flowerbeds, down the middle, lengthwise, to keep the cloth from weighing down tall plants.) There was a bit of tearing where the stakes had been pushed through too close to the edge, but otherwise the fabric held up very well. The fabric kept the frost off my flowers for a couple of extra weeks so I could enjoy my late blooming flowers a wee bit longer. However, it wasn't sufficient to fend off days' long sub-zero temperatures when we had no sun. I folded up the fabric and plan to use it again next season. I would recommend this product to gardeners who need protection for their plants from wind as well as frost.

Functional
Definitely lets sunlight through and thin enough to puncture with garden stakes. Strong fabric

Great for insect protection
I buy these for protection against insects, and they work well if you keep the inevitable holes that appear patched. But this fabric is really fragile. It usually only lasts a year, and even then you will be out sewing a lot. The holes aren't as important if you use them primarily as a season extender for cold protection. Season extension was an added benefit I didn't at first foresee but am taking advantage of it now.I have (permanently-installed) PVC hoops on hinges mounted on raised beds with this fabric over the top. Works very well for insect protection.I have some trees around and the wind inevitably drops branches on them which almost always puncture the fabric. I have bought more, but am trying a heavier fabric this time.

Wont survive North American Winter
I bought this product as it mentioned "frost Blanket" to cover my raised beds. But unfortunately, this did not help my plants at all, and day after a sudden mercury dip to 21F, I found my plants dead (RIP). I wouldn't recommend this product for winter; it can withstand the fall dips, but def cannot get winter.Quality wise, they can tear much faster, and I think that's expected from a cheaper product. I'd rather use this product to shield the plants from any heavy sun anyday.

Tolerates wind
So far the floating row cover seems promising. It has endured some pretty strong winds without tearing. The seedlings are growing, albeit slow. Rain seems to run off, though. The soil was nearly dry when I checked.
