Broan-NuToneBroan S97015157 Blower

It's the right replacement part. Now, the bathroom fan is silent and efficient again. In fact, it was so great that I bought a second one (not joking) for two reasons : in case it fails in ~10 years and to fight inflation (it's going to cost much more in ten years, that is if the part's still available).

I ordered this bathroom fan to fix the old one I needed to replace, shipping was quick, install in less then 10 minutes.

Will fit a NuTone 684NT-A and I assume other bathroom fans with a J housing. The NuTone fan I had is obsolete so I had to base my selection on the size in the specifications. Unplugged and removed the old unit and this one snapped right into place. The only difference is this has what I assume is a high temp cut off as part of the power cord which makes it a little bulky but this was not an issue. Hope this is helpful to others.

Easy replacement. Much quieter than the one replaced. I went to buy another the price had gone up. Good but expensive.
