Black Beauty: Classic Illustrations

Pretty good quality. Not crazy impressed. Was a gift for my niece.

Granddaughter loved reading and the amazing illustration.

The books came in new condition, but seemed to not be made well. All 3 of the books that were ordered had pages fall out on the first time using the books.

A gift for a child. A clsssic.

To read to my son

My girls enjoyed this book however I would have liked to see more color a page here and there to keep some color in the book all the pages were black and white so my girls finished the book but if your thinking to buy it for your kids consider that the entire book is all black and white!

I bought this to read with my 8 year old daughter as she requested it after reading an excerpt of the story in another book. I got the book out of the package and started reading with her. After a couple pages, some of the pages came spilling out. It’s like it wasn’t in the binding. I checked out a few more places in the book to determine if it was just those pages; there was more than one area that pages spilled out. Very disappointing. My daughter is afraid to touch the book for fear that it will ruin the book even more.

Reading this transports you to a time of youth and innocence, when you could believe in a happy ending. Ignore the adult voice fixated on the religious overtones and just enjoy!

Great for my horse made grandchild.

Poor quality with pixellated images. Save your money and buy a Penguin Modern Classics version.
