No complaints.
It's been working without a hitch for about a year now. No complaints. I bought it because I upgraded CPU, which called for a new motherboard, and I cheaped out on the motherboard, which didn't have enought fan headers to support all my fans, so this device allowed me to manually set a constant speed for my intake fans because I want a positive air pression inside my PC to help push out any dust that might want to settle inside.

Great product
Love this little thing. Put into a raspberry pi mini case I custom built and it really kicked in the fans to overdrive.

It's a fan controller
I was doing a build in an old prebuilt and needed to replace some fans, unfortunately the OEM motherboard had proprietary fan headers so I couldn't just swap in a generic fan. So I bought this controller since there was a spare PCIe slot that I could use. I liked it's footprint and the knobs at the back that allow you to adjust each individual fan. I can't say much for the quality of the design itself and how much power it can output, or how it functions with multiple fans connected as I just slapped in some random beater fan that I had laying around and called it a day, but it definitely suited my needs Unfortunately I didn't really take any pictures of the controller itself, but I will supply a picture of the finished build with the controller inside. As you can tell it's fairly small as you can barely see it underneath the fairly small graphics card.

Good fan controller for a decent price.
So Iโve gotten two of these for different projects, they are very reliable in my opinion. Build quality is questionable, but havenโt had anything die yet, one has been in 24/7 operation on a board with poor fan control for over a year (still going) and the other was used in a situation to power fans that could possibly burn out a fan header on a board. If you are looking at having a lot of high RPM fans, you may need to look into one of these to save your board. Likely since it using a full dedicated power cable vs distributed power on a mother board, you probably would be able to get away with some other high wattage fans. Tho results may vary. If you are trying to make a Tesla Gpu computer for example and need to power a absurd high wattage rpm fan but want it controlled in some fashion, I believe this will help. Most fans that are capable of cooling these types of cards will likely burn out headers more quickly. Drawbacks, PCIE bracket is a bit short or wonโt hook into cases, it will sometimes swivel on the screw when changing dial position. Another one, all the dials are not all equal, when I say this, the printed line on the dial when twisted to 0%, they are all in different spots. (Speculative) My guess they were glued on but not made aware on what position they were in. They do the job just fine, just know the line on the dial means nothing if this is the case.

Didn't work out well for me.
I needed this to help increase air in my case while still maintaining some decent level of sound. I paired it with a ARCTIC S8038. Pretty much no matter where I set the dial, the fan kinda revs up and down. So it kinda does a constant "Huhhhh Hmmmm Huhhhh Hmmm" The only way I could keep it steady was max speed. I also hooked up a Noctua NF-A8. It handled a lot better, but even it kinda did this rev up and down on the low end. Its like this hub can't supply a steady amount of power unless you turn the knob full tilt. Everything in between just kinda goes up and down. They screw they supply for placing in the PCI bracket slots seems too small.

Works
Yeah so I bought it to keep my gpu Temps somewhat low or lower than 81 while gaming by controlling the speeds of my fans without software. So far it has worked well. My temp has been at a steady 78 on gpu and a cool 50s on cpu. 2060s with I7-9700kf also a Be Quiet Hard Rock Pro.

Didn't work/DOA
This didn't work at all. Only one port powered any fans. Other ports were dead. This one port would power one pwm fan only, but essentially behaving as an on off switch without speed control, which defeats the point. In the end, I had spare pwm headers from another device that I used instead. I wanted this specifically to use to control fan speed on a hardware raid device without a pwm header. Anyway, I didn't end up needing this thing, but I would have liked the analog controls had it actually worked as intended.

Can slow fan to a stop
Using this controller with 3 Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM, High Performance Cooling Fan, 4-Pin, 1700 RPM (120mm, Grey) ; works fine and when the computer is rebooted the fans start ,when set to just above where the fans start to turn before the reboot. Update ran for a few weeks and the large transistor for outputs position 1 and 2 failed (went open) moved each cable over to position 5/6 and 7/8 and within minutes the Transistor for position 7/8 with one fan overheated and went open . So rated as one star now. Will try another controller .
