It's only electricity and only 3 cables.. as long as the cables match and their thickness, you should be fine... It's like changing a light fixture..

It powered my two box fans on my Quadra fire but The variable speed did not work correctly. It’s not sized right. I bought two new fans and controller on amazon for $30 and it’s been working great. So much quieter.

Q: Were having a low fan issue with our older quad sante fey stove...will this over ride our factory switch so we can set the fan speed where we want ?.

Yes, the quadrafire control box will over ride the fan speed. Sounds like your rheostat switch (dimmer) in the current control box is going out.
