First problem - you cannot set countdown time easily as the hour function is also used to set the mode - WHY? one button more would do the job properly.Second problem. Setting the bell and then not accidentally unsetting it when setting new alarms.Third problem. Once the bell is set it constantly goes off at random times even when the alarm is set to 000000. After this happened 6 times in less than an hour I removed the battery as it was impossible to stop it any other way.I purchased this just a couple of weeks ago to replace a similar timer (with enough buttons to cover all functions!) which finally died after 6 or 7 years of daily use.

What I like most is the decent size of the buttons. My previous timer had become difficult to use, as the buttons were the size of a match head. These are great. Good sized figures also. And helpful magnetic strip at the back. I think it’s great ,,, and ideal for my needs as finger touch and sight are aging.

Bought the timer for the purpose of needing it for a 1 hour alarm. The timer can count down for seconds and minuets but the hour button does nothing. So the only way I can get it to count down for an hour is to press the minuet button 60 times. Not very time efficient for a timer… waste of TIME (and £3.99)

I used to have the previous design of this and it was great. It lasted for many years so when it finally broke it was a no-brainer replace it with this updated model. This one feels even better made and is generally a pleasure to use. And I love that it uses a proper AAA battery rather than a button-type. My only slight criticism is the magnet is smaller and seems not to stick quite as securely as the previous model. If they could address that then it would be 5 stars for sure.

In the specifications it does say it doesn’t include a battery but these days hardly anything requiring a battery comes without one which can be very inconvenient if none immediately available. That’s my reason for giving 4 rather than 5 stars as I’d rather pay a little extra for an added battery. Good product so can recommend.

The display is easy to read - large digits and very clear.It is easy to set up but I have to put 1 minute in before I set an hour because the hour button serves as another function too. The instructions are perfectly clear so I have found that fine. I recommend this small timer.

I got this in red. Easy to use, set up and having time displayed is a bonus. Great value would recommend. Ps… no battery so make sure you have one AAA on standby!
