In the heat of Arizona sun the covers on any item deteriorates at a rapid rate. This cover protects my very expensive vinyl cover from replacement. The vinyl would break down in a year or two and need replacement without this cover. Our first one lasted from February 2021 to about June/July of 2022. It was getting faded and the nylon webbing for the straps was starting to breakdown. That was fine it since it was still doing its job. Then when opening the cover - we leave it over the vinyl cover and just fold it up with that over the lifter.... it tore in the corner one day. I contacted the company and they promptly shipped a new one to us. I'm very impressed. The waterproofness of the cover seemed good. The canvas lost it's water resistance over time but there is a plastic/vinyl liner underneath that seems to keep water from penetrating. I would recommend this highly even though it's not 5 star durable I'd say it's pretty darn close.

The seller has disconnected number and not responded to emails. I received this cover in November and there was no rain. After rain I found water underneath the cover and it made my spa water cloudy. I thought it was probably a defect cover since reviews were good, but the seller is obviously Chinese from the address I was giving and they have a disconnected phone number. So there's no 3 year warranty!! Angry with amazon letting sellers on here like these clowns. Buyer Beware! Amazon will give you any product if there's multiple sellers, and it will have same reviews. I see now Porch Shield comes up with a different seller! And they place same reviews!

This spa cover is very sturdy and it fits perfectly. But it appears that the material used for the side panels is different from the material used for the top. At least as far as its color fastness. The top began to fade immediately and you maybe able to tell the dramatic difference between it and the sides, which haven't faded at all. Either that or it is just that the sun hits the top so much more directly that the sides haven't started to fade as much yet. This is disappointing.

It fits my HotSprings Vanguard nicely. Please be careful when opening tub while top is frozen. I ripped my cover when I grabbed it to shake off the icy buildup. It was frozen to the hot tub cover and I ignored caution. However, I am getting another one because I like them so much. I wouldn't go without a secondary cover like this because the hard cover is $400-600USD and they only usually make it 3-5 years around here.
