Airstreams: Custom Interiors

I purchased this book to gain some knowledge of Airstream trailers. We are seeking to find and older Airstream to restore and use for future camping adventures! Not knowing much about Airstreams we began our history lessons with this book. I was very impressed with how the author restored several vintage Airstreams but more so in his approach to designing the 75th Anniversary model for the company. Very cool!

Most amazing fabrications to a classic airstream I've ever seen. Beautiful in every way especially if you are lucky enough to have one or 2 in the book

It's a great book with beautiful pictures. A must for anyone interested in restoring old campers to there former glory. The recipient loved this book

I really enjoyed this book on Airstreams. There are so many great photos of the interior of vintage Airstreams. It gives great ideas for renovation projects.

This book highlights about five of David Winick's trailers and it is essentially a picture book. Nearly all of the text is in the form of photo caption. It should hold interest to Airstream enthusiasts, and clearly David Winick is a detail-oriented craftsman when it comes to trailer restoration/refurbishment. However, the photos is the book are generally very poor quality. It almost looks as if they're misprinted they're so out-of-focus, but the text is crisp, as are some of the photos. In reality, they're just very poor quality (presumably antiquated cell-phone quality) photos. There is nothing in this book you cannot see by just Googling "David Winick Airstream" and clicking on "images". In the book they're printed beyond the limit of their resolution. The book, honestly, deflates my impression of David Winick as it seems like it's just a means of taking people's money, but it does not deliver a quality product. I only wish he had put as much attention to detail into the book as he seems to put into his trailers. Very disappointed.

I was under the impression this would be a collection of different refurbished airstreams from lots of different designers and DIYers. It's mostly a portfolio for one guy and features about 5 trailers total. Pretty disappointing, but it may have been my fault for not reading the description thoroughly?

to have any one of these Airstreams in my life. I would be the woman on the road to adventure all the time.

I returned this book, It dealt with an entirely different era of Airstream than that which I have an interest.
