Bought a couple of these sweatshirts for my mom for the fall. Great part was that they came in on time, early actually and the price was cheaper than what was being offered at my local stores at the time. However, she found a small issue with the sizing. She has many Hanes products in her wardrobe. She said that for these being Women's size XL, they are snug. Wondering if they were maybe mislabeled or were just made a bit small?? Just hope they stretch a bit seeing I bought 3 of them. I know something is wrong with them because I went to my local Wal-**** and bought one. Same make and size and she said that the one from that store fits right. Fits with that little bit of room an XL should have. So now I am really am confused. But maybe it was a one time bad batch. And the ones you get are perfect. I mean don't get me wrong. She's not saying that they are anything like 3 sizes too small or something. They are just a little bit snug for an XL. Other than that, quality, color, stitching, size of hood, the zipper....EVERYTHING IS PERFECT!!!! Please don't take my remarks as me bashing Hanes. Just an FYI...that's all it is. She is still going to keep and wear them.

I purchased this item for my daughter who works in the refrigerated back section of a supermarket all day. She is always very cold. She had a hoodie but it was too thin and she still got cold when wearing it. I got this in black to match her uniform. I got this in a size small and it seems to fit true to size. She gets the sleeves wet each day when working so she washes this every night and so far it has held its color with no fading. She washes it in cold water and lets it air dry on a hanger. She says it is very comfortable and keeps her warm. It is a medium weight hoodie, not the real think kind and not the real thin kind. The metal zipper works well .The cuffs and bottom him are a rib knit that stays put. She is very happy with this hoodie. I purchased two of them at one time and I will most likely get 3 more so she always has a clean one for work.

This hoodie is just what I wanted. I thankfully read the reviews before purchasing and took the advice of several of the reviewers and got a larger size than I would have ordinarily ordered. When it came it looked a little big......longer than I like but I remembered the reviews saying that it shrinks some in length when washed. So I washed it and dried it in the dryer . And it did shrink in length . Not too much but enough to make it just about right. I like my hoodies to be loose enough that I can wear heavy sweaters or another sweatshirt under it if I want/need to layer it. So I really am happy with my purchase. I checked the "fit as expected" because I had read the reviews about it being somewhat small and ordered larger........so it was what I expected. :)

Maybe i like a bit more room than the small size as it is made. My family has arms that are usually longer than most. I say this because most of the blouses and long sleeved tee shirts hit about an inch short of my wrist. This hoodie arm length is good and is just right and I was pleasantly surprised. That being said, the chest was smaller than expected when zipped. Next time I would purchase a medium. I am only 5'4" and about 115lbs . Looking back at the picture, it is very accurate..

Bought this as a holiday gift for the wife (one of many!). She wanted a new one since I managed to get bleach all over her old favorite in the laundry.These run a bit small - while the wife is not a XXL, she likes comfy clothes on the larger size, and this fit the bill. She's about 5'9", and she would kill me if I mentioned her weight (I realy don't know it, it's a matter of national security).Well made, stands up to washing well (as long as you don't let the bleach near it).

This sweatshirt is a LOUD red, not a deep, rich red like I was expecting. It's nice and soft on the inside and has washed well (but I've only washed it a time or two). My least favorite part of this sweatshirt is the zipper. It's unattractive metal, and this one and the other two of the same brand have all done the little curl at the bottom from sitting down. So the bottom of the zipper and the sweatshirt are always sticking out and flipped up. It's annoying to me. BUT since I work around nasty things and don't want to ruin my nice clothes (and I have to buy clothes out of pocket for work), this sweatshirt fits the bill and I don't worry about getting it dirty.

I wish this sweatshirt was longer in length.

The cotton is soft and comfortable, but the fit is square. The sweatshirt shrinks in the wash and then stretches out a bit as it is worn. I wanted a loose, breezy fit to pull on after swimming for sun protection, and this is tight on the arms, fitted through the chest, and full at the waist. Still the fabric is nice and will be comfortable under a hot sun. I wish I had ordered a size larger.
