Warranty void if you install.
Seems to work great, plenty hot water and easy installation, it's no warranty if yo install yourself. If I had know I would have bought something else..

NOT AN EASY INSTALL! Would have cost $2750 to $4000, not a DIY project in my case
The house was built in 1950, and only has 1/2" gas lines, as well as a 3" exhaust vent for the original tank-style water heater. This size on-demand Water Heater requires 3/4" gas feed and 4" or better exhaust. Install would have cost between $2750 and $4000 due to the need to replace the gas line from the meter, as well as pulling the old exhaust vent from the roof, making a larger hole and installing a larger gas combustion exhaust vent pipe. Size your system appropriately unless you are ready to spend a lot more doing the actual installation.

No parts avail on Amazon
This is a second thankless I ordered. First one was easy to install & works perfect. This one was a hassle. It had specific parts that Amazon did not have available so we had to order from home depot. My installer was at wits end waiting for parts. Can't really rate it yet, as it has only been installed for a short time.

New water heater was already used and damaged!!!!
First of all the box was barely covering the water heater as it had clearly been opened. I start to install the water heater and water starts coming out of it. Clearly it had already been tried and used. Complete deception on the quality of the product. Advertising new water heaters that are already used. Also casing was bent as if it had been dropped. This is absolutely unacceptable!!

Had some issue in beginning with some code issue, but it was all fixed due to incorrect vent system. Quite unit loved it
