Made from tough and durable nylon with PVC coating it is completely waterproof so safe for your valuables – car keys, mobile phones etc. It has 2 carry straps making it easy to transport and to hang on to when you need a rest. The waist strap is fully adjustable and the tether is attached to the buoy with a carabiner, so can be removed with ease. This tow buoy has 2 inflatable air compartments so if one fails you can still be sure that you and your valuables remain safe. It is bright hi-viz orange and can be seen from a very long way away. We swam in terrible weather conditions in North Wales, UK (getting wet anyway!) and our spotter could see these buoys long after he lost sight of us. Be seen, be safe – you won’t be missed! Boaters, paddlers, jet-skiers and surfers will know you are there and you can swim in complete safety. Most wetsuits are black and so swimmers run the risk of being missed, but towing this buoy behind you makes sure that you will be safe at all times. The size is great too – with 20L worth of space, you can fit in, keys, phones and a small towel or t-shirt. The more you put in the smaller the air cells with be and if you put in only small objects (keys/phone) then the chambers can be fully inflated. Easy to use – simply put in your items, roll the top over 3-4 times, inflate each chamber, adjust the waist strap to fit you and you’re ready to go. Takes a matter of seconds. Enjoy!

Beware the metal carabiner
I may update this review, hoping this buoy turns out to be durable and last longer than others. But today I took my first swim with it and ten minutes out the metal clip/carabiner that was attaching the strap to the buoy failed (see photo); the buoy floated away from me--fortunately we were at slack tide in the river, and the wind wasn't high--with my car keys, etc. Almost a disaster. I doubled the strap through itself, which works (though strap a little short?); why they decided to include this really cheap carabiner, I have no idea. It looks technical but is not necessary and is prone to failure.

Great upgrade from the cheap swim buoys
I’ve logged hundreds of miles with the Xterra swim buoys and have had two tear, one almost caused me to lose my keys. This buoy is better. Dual air bladders with the dry bag in the middle so your keys etc are well protected. Overall a more solidly built design too. And finally a whistle on the buckle is a nice touch.

Top notch construction & durability.
Love it! Just wish I found an option for a larger one!Kept everything bone dry, very durable, and well constructed. Living in S. FL is a yr. round vacation & all about the beach. Awesome for an open water swim and strong enough to handle the strong currents/waves.Felt this is a high quality product!

Great quality. I picked this because I like to run up the beach a mile or two and then swim back to my car... the straps make it a breeze to carry- a d the double float compartments are awesome if u end up carrying more than expected (other swimmers stuff)... highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
