very efficient little razor, especially good for finishing off the poor job the manual razors do. I can't get a good shave with a blade alone and if I want a baby smooth face I use this. Or, if I am in a hurry, this tiny beast does the job. It packs a punch for a small price.

I have had two different Remington travel shavers that I used over the years while traveling and they were both very good but eventually wore out after about 10 years. I travel a lot for work and pleasure and love the space saving and convenience that these type of shavers offer. My last Remington screen wore out so I was looking for a replacement and saw this travel shaver for a cheap price, so I thought I would give this a try. It is about half the size of the Remington travel shaver, and I think that it part of the reason that is shaves so poorly. The micro screen is tiny so it does a very poor job of shaving and it takes about 4 times as long compared to the Remington. Might work well for someone with a very light beard or teenager, but for those with a thicker beard it will leave you unshaven.

Close to Perfection! I have been using this type of shaver for almost 10 years now. I used to buy the large, fancy, expensive electric shavers. Very inconvenient, if the battery ran down you had to plug in and wait for it to charge. None of them lasted over 6 months. While on a work trip, I had one fail on me. I had a meeting that afternoon, so I found one of these tiny units at a local wally-world store. For about $10, I figured I would give it a try. It really surprised me with the shave quality! I've been using them ever since. There have been several brand names over the years, that all have sold essentially the exact same shaver, but with very minor changes. They have all done a really good job with shave quality and battery life, but there has always been a few minor issues, such as the plastic blade cover not staying on, some had poor quality on-off switches, etc. But FINALLY, this Tongtle Tech model has solved every issue, and basically made it perfect! I have been using it every day, for about a month now. Batteries last 2-3 weeks or longer, (I recommend using alkaline AAA, I use the lower cost ones, like Ray-O-Vac). They improved the retention snaps that hold the shave head and clear cover in place, so the first few times you need to be careful and grip with both hands to separate the blade head from the body, then a quick puff of air to blow out the particles and snap it back together. I shave on my drive to work. Saves me time in the mornings. Extremely pleased, ordered another one last night! In my lengthy experience with this type of shaver, after about 6-8 months of daily use, the shaver blades seem to wear down, they get a little noisier and it takes a bit more effort to get a clean shave. They do include a cleaning brush, and an extra "cutting foil", which does renew the shave quality for a while longer.I sure hope Amazon and TongleTech continue to make this model available, it is absolutely the best value electric shaver you will find, at a bargain price, and gives a clean, close shave with no discomfort!

I may be giving this 5 stars for each thing individually but I’m going only 4 for overall. Why? Well, this is a great electric shaver if you’re all about getting rid of day-old stubble on your face - and absolutely nothing more than that. However, if shave no more than 2 or 3 days at a time (like me), then this is not the razor for you as you’ll be forever trying to shave anything longer than a nanometer. That being said, this is great for those who shave often and cleaning is as simple as can be since it’s water resistant and you’ll literally have facial hair in the form of dust, which is a cinch to rinse away. I’m still going to keep mine, I’ll just use it sparingly as needed. My only gripe: (other than its inability to cut anything more than 24-hour old stubble) is that it would’ve been nice for it to have a trimmer but, being such a small package boosting convince with water resistance, I can let that slide and the extra screen and well-engineered brushing tool only adds to the value. Being small enough to literally put in your pants pocket, it’ll make your cellphone look like a laptop in comparison. If you like keeping your face perfectly shaven with no stubble at all (and shave often enough to do so), this is the electric razor for you.

Works great, smooth shave, easy to clean and when you are camping it makes it fast and simple to feel fresh.

I like it for a quick afternoon shave. I think the holes in the screen are to small though 🤔

I've been using the "leading brand" 3 head rotary shavers for around 25 years. With an upcoming trip where I want to pack very light, I wanted something smaller than my full sized rechargeable. I read the reviews here which made it clear that this item is best for daily stubble coverage. So I bought it and tried using it daily for several days.I will say on a positive note, the size is perfect. It's small and light and takes up almost no space.That said, each time I used it, my skin got irritated and I had a few bloody pores. And inevitably there were a couple of stray hairs (longer than about 1mm) that this shaver simply world not cut, even going over the spot 30 times. So for traveling, I would have needed to also carry something else to deal with longer hairs, like maybe a disposable.I ended up giving this cheap toy away to charity and buying the travel 2 head rotary version of my main shaver. It's a little bigger and a little more money than this one, but it's still very compact and it works just like my regular home shaver. The quality of the shaves of these two products is night and day.If you're a regular foil shaver user, maybe this could work for you. But for rotary users, I would avoid this shaver.
