I purchased the 7 mm electric pencil sharpener to use at work and I love it. It sharpens very quickly and so smooth. It is larger than I expected but that's not an issue. Definitely a great purchase!

I have a small fortune tied up in watercolor pencils and got tired of pencil sharpeners that ate half my pencils and didn’t even give me a sharp point (I mean, what’s the point of no point?!?), this sharpener works great, no half eaten pencils and a nice sharp tip!

I was highly anticipating using this sharpener! Upon receiving and using it, pure disappointment...the sharpener doesn't sharpen the pencil to a decent medium to long point, but a short stump of a point... I could get longer points than that on manual pencil sharpeners!

I'm familiar with the brand since I do adult coloring so figured I'd give this sharpener a try when my old one was dropped and thus, broken in my high school classroom.PRO: Well, it sharpens the pencil, lol, and it sharpens it WELL, to a nice point with minimal breakage (in fact, I don't remember a single "break"). It's a nice size and easy to empty.Con: It's kind of loud. As in, the kind you stop talking and wait for the kid to STOP SHARPENING THE PENCIL! (lol!). The reservoir for the "shavings" fills up very fast for a classroom, so be sure to check it often.Verdict: RecommendI pride myself on honest, accurate, helpful reviews.

I love that it will sharpen different size pencils!The big yellow or red round pencils are my favorite! - they have the biggest erasers! I teach math (k-4th grade) and all my kids adore this size pencil.My father did wood-work and he would use this size pencil too; best for measuring & marking & I remember to always check twice before cutting.Fabulous pencil sharpener!

I have a lot of use for pencil sharpeners. I use a lot of wood graphite pencils but I also use a lot of colored pencils too. That creates a need for a sharpener that is not only good for regular pencils but art pencils as well. I got this because it does sharpen larger pencils which most do not.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in a box well cushioned with basic instructions.INSTRUCTIONSThe instructions are confusing because on the one hand, this is advertised as being for art and regular pencils but in the sheet inside it says to avoid waxy leads. Some colored pencils have wax in them, so this is confusing. It also lists crayons as being able to be used in here, but again, wax..PERFORMANCEThis sharpener is good for regular pencils, although I feel it does waste some of the wood. When it comes to art pencils, however, I just feel it is a bit too wasteful and blows through not only the wood, but the leads too. Some of my pencils are far too expensive to blow away in a sharpener.PHOTOI posted a photo for you. This sharpener did sharpen my LYRA Color Giants Pencils in this sharpener. They are a larger colored pencil I had a hard time finding a sharpener for. The darker pencil was NOT sharpened in the sharpener, and the lighter pencil was sharpened in the sharpener, but I pulled it out before it was done- it was wasting too much pencil for my liking.The other pencils are graphite. The first two graphite pencils on the inside of the three were sharpened in other graphite sharpeners. The blue and white pencil was sharpened in this one from Arteza. They are pretty similar.THE BOTTOM LINEThis sharpener is fine for my regular graphite pencils. For art pencils, I feel it is a bit too wasteful for my taste.MY RATINGTHREE STARS. I got this for my art pencils since they are larger and I will use it, but I have to pull the pencil out before too much is wasted when I sharpen them. I use a different sharpener for my other colored pencils. I don't waste as much with that one.

The media could not be loaded. So far it’s amazing! Works quickly and efficiently! Easy for kids to use too! And it’s not excessively loud.

This thing is pretty neat. It stops automatically once the pencil is sufficiently sharpened, which it does quite quickly. I like that it's cordless, as plugs are at a premium in my art room. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Highly recommended.

I liked the item but the only thing is that I bought it to sharpen charcoal and dry pastel pencils. Unfortunately, it doesn't and so I am wondering what type of sharpener would do the job for me.I tried another one but it doesn't work either. If anyone has a suggestion do let me know, please!
