Not sure as it is not stated anywhere on the platform. Judging by the way it's made, the price, and the fact that the rating decal is in Kilograms, I'm guessing China. Great platform for the price. Definitely rugged enough. To date, it has served our needs well. Wouldn't hurt to drill some holes in the bottom as it collects water when it rains.

the opening on the one I bought is 7.75" x 2"

Approximately 27 1/4" (center to center).

Q: The photo shows fork slots as 7.5" x 2", but the specs show 6.25" x 2" Which is it?

I measured mine and the inside measurement was 7&3/4 x 2
