Beautiful design. Colors just as advertised. Exactly what was expected.

My Resin Whale arrived ahead of time. As described. Solid. No problem whatsoever. Matter of fact it's setting on top of my jet black Baby Grand Piano holding up books now. I would never have set it there right away, it had felt pads on the bases when it arrived. So all things considered, I love the little guy. G

Love the shape and weight, the distressed paint job was a little off for me.

He fits perfectly in my nautical theme home. Only issue is the weird black flakes that transfer to hands/clothing when handling the bookends. Otherwise we'll made.

Both decorative and functional. I'm using it on a nightstand, and not one book has fallen over yet!

Even cuter in person, is very heavy duty and does the job well.

Sending this back! When I pulled the bookends out of the packaging, my hands were covered in the black paint chipping off from the whale. I thought maybe it was just a fluke and it had lost some paint in the shipping. I put it on my bookshelf with my book to see how it looked and it got the same black chipped off paint all over my book and white bookshelf. I would not waste your time/money on this.

The paint peels off leaving black flakes everywhere. They're really cute, but it's annoying to have to handle them because I end up covered.
