Had low expectations- though they would be cheap stoneware, and few would be broken if not. They are actual porcelain or white china!! and all intact. Absolutely top quality. We are so prejudiced thinking because its from China it must be of low quality- well they invented porcelain and it stands reason they would make some of the finest. Sad thing is I bought it for our cats, I suppose they deserve it, yes the size and shape is perfect for them. These would make perfect dipping bowls and desert plates.

This are phenomenal bowls that are sturdy and the perfect size for soups, ice cream, cereal, and beyond. I love that they came as a pack of 12 instead of 4 of 6. They wash up super easy in the dishwasher and look great for when guests come over too.

Love my bowls! They are elegant, universal, can be used for soups, salads, berries, oatmeal.

Size as expected and nice quality.

As stated above, they have many uses. Not only is the size perfect but they go with any decor. They would make a good gift.

We absolutely love the size, depth and ability to stack these — so much so we’ve ordered them twice thus far — but unfortunately we’ve found the actual durability to be an issue. In the product description it says you do did not need to worry about that but in our case we have over and over and over. More than half of them had to go into the garbage due to chips and breakage within the first 3 months. Perhaps it’s because we wash them in the dishwasher as we have a section on the top rack that fits them perfectly without having to touch. We really do like them, but are disappointed with the durability and thought others should know that, yes indeed, they do chip and break. We are old enough to know how to care for our things so it’s not due to mistreatment or carelessness. Will we order again? Probably, as the size is perfect and we hate to break up the collection of the few we have remaining.

Ordered these because I wanted some simple white bowls. The shape and design is perfect. However, they are not a bright white, it is more of a cream.
