As described. I've used it before so I knew it was going to be lightweight small white granules to use in my compost as an aid for drainage. Good size of pack for me to store and use.

I really don't like complaining and I did think that maybe it was a little harsh of other poor reviews on this but I should of listened. I couldn't; get my normal supply of Perlite so I know what I am comparing to. This is heavy, moist, and grey and clumps. I can't see me using any of it but might store it somewhere to use at a later date with outdoor soil.

The product is too fine to be effective for soil aeration. It clumps easily to soil and to itself as it's largely a bag of white dust. It can be used as fake snow, but not much else.It was dispatched and arrived quickly, however that's the end of the pro list.The seller was contacted prior to placing this review to try and address the situation. Their stance is that that is exactly what Plagron perlite is like, so be warned, Plagron perlite is of poor quality and the seller isn't the kind to take responsibility for the products they carry.
