Bought for my Prusa Mini clone - 10 stars!
UPDATE 1/2/23 - Still working great! Was having heat creep and clogging issues on my Prusa Mini clone. Had already installed a clone V6 type hotend and still had problems, so I swapped that out with this.It was a direct V6 swap, so very easy to install.Had this for over a month now, and not a single issue. Have printed many prints at 300+ percent speed.I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Filament sputters and crackles after a few months of use
This fits a phaetus dragon hotend profile perfectly, and works well for a few months. Unfortunately filament started to crackle and pop after a few months use, rendering this unusable. I've isolated this to the heat brake on this hotend. Good luck!

Uhhhhhh yeah….
Got this hotend for my ender 3. Tried using a Creality spider before and had nothing but trouble with it. Now with this v6 I’ve been having the worst time finding a fan duct that will support this. I have printed a couple different ones and each one has been slightly off from what i need. Doesn’t quite fit right. With the hotend needing a fan casing to hold it to the ender since there’s screws to connect to the bracket. This is where the trouble has been for me. I couldn’t find a correct fan casing for ender 3 for this. Tried even the popular ones like herome (v6 hotend too big to fit inside the housing), satsuna (again too small housing for the heatsink) and many not so popular ones. I’ve wasted enough filament to buy another v6 clone. In my box for this hotend I got a little paper that had a gmail email and said any issues please send us an email and we will get to your issue asap. Yeah I’ve sent a total of 6 emails over 30 days and not a single response. I would have returned this already except it was a gift from someone I don’t talk to anymore. 🤷🏻♂️

Clogs with every setting
I tried going slow, no retraction, fast, really hot, without fan, and every combination of every single one of those parameters inverted on a $3,000 machine - the Vivedino Troodon... all it does it clog no matter what a hour into the simplest prints.

A bit of wiggle, but solid hotend
An excellent hotend that has most of the advantages of the Dragon, but without the spacer tubes that apparently cause Slice to send lawyers after you. Using the screws to prevent rotation does have a little bit of rotation on tightening due to clearance (see picture), it's possible that switching for only partially threaded M2.5 screws would solve this issue though.V6 groove mount is removable, and it fits perfectly in Dragon mounts, so no need to create a new mount for it.I filed through the plating on my heat block and confirmed it's copper (or at least a high copper alloy). Extra socks can be ordered from AliExpress, but don't yet seem to be available on Amazon.Performance is very similar to a Dragon ST (standard flow) to the point where I couldn't tell the difference in testing.Basically, an excellent choice for people who want a Dragon style hotend and are located where patents prevent their sale. If both the Dragon and K1 are available, the extra $15-20 may be worth a Dragon for however.

Haldis Red Lizard Hot End.... it seems OK!
While building a Voron 0.1, one needs a more compact Hotend than the traditional E3D V6.At the time of my building one, the choices were either: Slice Engineering Mosquito, Phaetus Dragonfly or Phaetus Dragon, which is not easily available in USA.The Red Lizard is meant to replace the Dragon directly, and is does so well, fitting in the Dragon Extruder housing and working decently well in its stead. The Red Lizard appears well made with good finish and well-polished and plated parts. The only sub-par parts are the 2.5mm mounting bolts and the included allen key, which fit poorly and are easily stripped out. I did check, the wrench fits good bolts loosely, and a good wrench fits the supplied bolts loosely.Aside from easily replaced bolts, there is no Heater Cartridge included nor Thermistor, which is just as well as you will probably want to source your own specific types for these parts. There is a nice-looking 0.4mm plated nozzle included, along with a wrench set for changing nozzles and a silicone sock. The 7mm nozzle wrench is of little use, but the larger wrench for holding the Heat Block is a great addition, along with the machined flats on the Heat Block. Unlike the traditional V6 Heat Block, this one is easy to hold with the included wrench while changing nozzles. The unique feature that sets the Red Lizard apart from a V6 type is that the bimetal heatbreak is bolted to the heatsink instead of screwed in. Unlike a Dragonfly, the outer heatsink is mostly a support as the main heatsink is on the heatbreak itself and is quite small. A 6mm threaded mount protrudes from the bottom and supports the Heat Block exactly like a V6, and the plated and polished copper Heat Block itself appears fully V6 compatible. The Red Lizard feels heavy, mostly due to the large copper Heat Block. It one is concerned with mass, an aluminum V6 block could reduce the weight. In use, the Red Lizard prints OK. It lacks one-handed nozzle changes but at least makes nozzle changes tolerable. The Heatbreak is a compromise between traditional V6 and the better Mosquito design. In all, it seems like a very nice replacement for an E3D V6 with the included Groovemount Adaptor. It does a decent job at replacing the Dragon and appears decently well made. A Mosquito is quite a lot better in most regards but is also a lot more expensive. An E3D Revo Voron would have been a better choice for me.Pros:Nice finish, nicely madeFits Dragon mounts, if the attached Groovemount adaptor is removedFits E3D V6 mounts as deliveredEasier nozzle changes than V6Better Heatbreak design than V6An included plated nozzle and silicone sockCons:Heavy-ishPoor quality included bolts and wrench for Dragon mounting
