Cord is too long, causes product to break sooner
The extra long cord so so long it is guaranteed to become tangled and catch on things until it wears out. Mine lasted me about 4-6 weeks. Also, the earpierce was quite tight, so it was hard to put on the ear. The quality for the calls was fine, though, which makes the ultra-long cord a critical flaw in what could have been a great low-end headset.

I've just got one last week from Radio Shack. The call quality, both directions, is superb which is what I've been longing for in the past two years. I can't stand to have two earbuds in my ears while I talk and those are so awkward to put on while a call comes in.The cord is longer than with other headsets, i'll vouch for that, however I've neatly tailored it to the length I wanted by folding it in a tight loop along the cord and cinching it with a tiny little twist-tie. That was a simple and costless solution. My irritation with this headset though is how tight the earclip is around the foam pad. (this part got me Not to give the Fifth Star in the review.) To squeeze my ear through, I have to use both hands and finagle my ear through the tight area between the two pieces. Once in, though, the unit is comfortable and can stay on a long time without causing ear fatigue.Oh, and did i say that the sound quality is great? Yup, it is. The people that used to complain when I used to talk to them on my previous earpieces, do not cringe any longer. They too say it sounds good.I'm content. Finally.------------------ Oh, and as a perk, (additional value to some), this headpiece comes with a Y-splitter that allows it to connect to the side of a laptop or PC--two plugs, one for headphone, the other for microphone, if you want to use it with a computer. That's a separate device/adapter which, by itself, usually goes for between $5 and $9 on Amazon.
