Good shape, fits well but very snug. The gentlemen are securly contained but a direct hit will mostly likely make your eyes bulge. A little more room on the dance floor would be beneficial. The waist strap has a back tie but no other adjustments like velcro, which would be a very good idea. I officially hate the waist strap tie in the back. You need a second person to adjust the thing if you've already put it on. Recommend to get at least one size larger than you think you need. I am going to get rid of the strap and just use the protector. A waist strap with velcro and a big snap at the point so everything is removable and adjustable is in the works.

I used it to help my wife spar and practice home self defense and experienced no problems. The fit was perfect, no discomfort once in place, and I felt fully protected and shielded each time my wife used a 7 foot bamboo staff to strike me in the groin several times. The groin guard stayed in place throughout our stand-up based sparring. I moved laterally and kneeled down several times with no obvious displacement. Each strike to the groin with the staff was stopped with no injury. I used a backup cup as an insurance policy to double the protection -- and even with an extra cup -- the entire garment stayed stationary with no bulky obstructions to my movements, or discomfort on the mat while practicing stand-up self-defense with full contact bo staff strikes to the groin. Great product.

Protects your grundle from everything but the most viscous of cock shots

I use the guard for bjj. Let me start by saying the guard provides excellent protection. If that is your primary purpose then it is worth it, however the only negative thing I can say is that it can provide a bit of discomfort when you apply an armbar or force is applied on the guard. I am willing to compromise this for protection from almost every angle though.

My boys like to box and one was hit in the junk once so we bought this (2 of them) and tested it. Says he doesnt feel a thing.

I initially put 4 stars but changed my mind because I am not using this guard as per the ad. I am using it for karate and Ju-Jitsu. Confort and protection are just excellent. It covers well everything that needs to be covered.

I'm using this for Krav Maga training. Fits great, hasn't restricted my movement at all, and provides good protection. I would definitely recommend it.

Quality, colour and design are very good, bought for my hubby, whos not yet worn it for training. Has tried it on and is pleased with the fit. So far so good.
