Super adorable
I purchased these for a tiered farmhouse tray decor Idea I had for a table centerpiece and I knew these little pieces would be perfect. I tacked up the banner and put the door over it and the rest around it, then filled it in with flowers and other knickknacks and boy is this cute. Very good price and well made too, highly recommend.

So Freaking Cute. Amazing Details.
So Freaking Cute. Amazing Details. I believe the ratio is going to be perfect for my needs. I LOVE that the door opens. We have a garden room, with a few fairy gardens. This is a perfect addition. The only thing that needs assembly is the little banner.I have one of those wall shelves, that is a fire escape. This door is the door at the top. I am thinking of hanging the little banner along the fire escape. I think it will be cute.

A Lot of Details in the Door; Missing Banner
This Wooden Tooth Fairy Door set is very well crafted with fine details added, particularly on the door itself. The door handle has all the realistic features of a vintage handle, scaled down. There is a key hole as well; although it does not work nor does it go all the way through (you can see the painted door), so you cannot use the provided key. This is not an issue as even the key has incredibly realistic details, again scaled down. There is a door knocker that functions and a letter slot that is decorative and non-functioning. The door can be opened and is very smooth, with the hinges out of sight and through the top and bottom rather than the side. It is odd that the door opens opposite than you would expect it, with the outdoor features opening outward (the hinges to the right). I assume this is because of the "Fairy" aspect so that the Fairy is coming from "inside". This is something to note, however, since I intend on using this for crafting my own dollhouse. The set itself is beautiful; with a primary focus on the detailed door and the key. The ladder, felt welcome mat and gate are also well crafted and made with safety and quality in mind but are less impressive by comparison. Unfortunately, I did not receive the banner with this set, although my purpose of this order was for the door itself. I intend on adding this to a dollhouse that I am making myself and the scale is great for dolls. Each piece fits the sizing for a dollhouse and since the wall side is flat, it is easy to adhere to any wall. The details in the door as well as the functionality make this a great set regardless of whether you are using it for crafting or for its intended purpose, as a "Fairy Door" in your home. It is sure to add that little bit of magic to your project. I would recommend it.

Why do fairies need ladders?
I got this little door for my niece's birthday. My daughter has something similar, and it's a great compromise between Elf on the Shelf and the Tooth Fairy. Not every kid is okay with magical creatures just showing up in their room and spying on them (or worse, stealing stuff from them like teeth!). This gives your child a bit of control over when those creatures come and go. The idea being anything (short of Santa Claus) can be justified as coming and going through the door, which the child positions as needed. It's not nearly as creepy as the Shelf Elf (who is RIGHT THERE, staring at you). We use ours to let in leprechauns, elves (the non-Christmas time), and gnomes. The detail is amazing. It even has a key hole in the door and a key, with a knocker and a letter slot. Neither the key hole or the letter slot work (which is probably for the best)The accessories that comes with it are cute, but only valuable if you're putting the door somewhere a toddler or pet can't get it. The ladder, welcome mat, and gate are all just asking to be destroyed or lost. The ladder exists to let the fairy climb down when there's shoe molding on the floor, but 1) you probably aren't going to permanently affix this door to anything so you can just rest it against the molding, and 2) can't fairies fly? Why do they need ladders? All in all, this is a much higher quality fairy door than the one my daughter has, but it's not going to put up with much abuse so you'll want to be thoughtful about where you place it.
