Defective thread on one of the two ordered.
These handles are elegant, and very sturdy, and was the perfect finishing touch to my home made barn doors. Unfortunately, one of the handles internal thread was defective, preventing the screw from threading. Amazon took the item in return, and the replacement worked perfectly.
