Shark HE6FKPET Anti-Allergen Hepa Filter with Advanced Odor Lock, Air Purifier 6 (HE601 & HE602), White

I considered all the knockoff brands for half the price. Their weights varied from half a pound to three-quarters over and all seemed to be pics of the same item. I got 9 months out of my last filter that came with the machine and think that $11/mo is a price I'm willing to pay for reliable air quality.

I adore my Shark air purifier, so when it came to replacing the HEPA filter, I felt that I had no choice but to purchase this. The price is staggering -- my husband swears that we're not going to replace the filter again -- but it works so well that I can't imagine doing without. It takes mere seconds to install and to reset the change filter light.I hope that Shark is able to lower the price in the future to keep its customers happy.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Yeah, I fell for the giant air cleaner during Covid, and because of dog, cooking, smoking visitors, etc. I did get a good deal on the unit from Amazon Treasure Truck. And it works fairly well, but best if it is close to the source of the smells, be it cooking, cigarettes, vacuuming, etc. The unreasonable part of it is $100.00 every six months. Seriously!!! $200.00 per year to run this thing, plus the cost of electricity. The filter is big, yes, and has a frame that fits into the unit properly. But $100 is kind of steep. Had I known this, I never would have bought the unit. I have it in a 300 sq.ft. room, and if someone smokes, it turns right on if they are withing 5 feet of the cleaner. Otherwise it doesn't turn on until half the cigarette is done, and you can smell it for quite a while afterward. Not really doing anything except taking my money.

The price is High but the filter is pretty Heavy Duty! I enjoy the air quality this filter provides so too me it's worth the money. ( Suggestion: Shark should provide a Coupon Code😏) The filter in general is Heavy Duty and is needed for the air purifier Happy with this product.

People will complain about everything, especially about how expensive these filters are yet they’re the ones who didn’t do research before buying a product…. Great filter and purifier for the money!
