Perfect for what I need it for. I do allot of sim racing on pc, and everytime I pressed my pedals, my chair would roll backwards. So I purchased these to prevent my chair from rolling at all. And wow they are solid! My chair will not budge at all now. In order to move my chair at all, I have to lift it up.Also they are so simple to install. Just put your chair upside down, pull out the original feet (They just pop out) and slide these in place. They also come with adhesive rubber stickers you can put on the bottom to prevent scratching on hard floor. But on carpet they are not needed in my case.So if you want feet for you chair to stop from sliding completely, this product is for you. If you want something that can easily slide on the floor, this may be too grippy for you.

Works great keeping the chair in place

I needed an ergonomic chair for use at my treadle sewing machines and we had an office chair that we thought would be perfect. The only problem was I could not keep the chair in position because of the wheels and as I was treadling I kept sliding further and further back until I could no longer operate the sewing machine. We wanted to make every effort to use what we already had so I bought these replacements for the wheels and promptly installed them and added the rubber grip pads to the bottom of the plastic feet to avoid any damage to our laminate floor. Well the chair was heavy to start with and with those rubber feet it didn't the chair didn't move at all. In fact I couldn't even move it on purpose due to weakness and pain that I experience do to fibromyalgia. We scraped off the rubber feet and try it again. It just wasn't working for me. If you need feet to replace the wheels on your office chair and you're not 69 years old and in pain so that you can't fend for yourself this is a perfect solution but for me it just didn't work.

I have been looking for something like this for quite some time. I tried other chair stops but that required my having to lift up the chair and remounting the stops every time I wanted to move the darn thing. Slipped these on just now and they are literally perfect. The most time I spent was taking the old wheels off. Popping these on took nothing and slipped right in. If I hadn't needed to remove the old wheels, I suspect I could have had all five popped on in under 2 minutes. It's just that simple.They come with a little rubber grip pads which attached to the bottom of the feet which really does keep them from moving around. It also means that I get to just move my chair around now without having to keep picking it up to put those risers on and off. I'm already really really happy with this and definitely recommend them.

These worked great on my chair, but I put the sticky pads on the bottom of the feet to try to protect my floor, and those didn't hold up at all, and ended up scraping off and sticking to the floor, collecting dirt, etc.
