I was shocked by how expensive some of the stepper motor + linear rails are on this website. So, I turned to Befenybay for an affordable / correctly priced version to build an affordable automated x y microscope stage. I used the 100mm rail for the X position and the 50mm rail for the Y position. With this current setup (A) and some software. I can visit multiple pre-selected position every five minutes (B) and my object of interest has only a minor deviation - 40 pixels at worst- from its original position (C). Hooray! I am very happy with this purchase, and I would highly recommend this product.

So far so good. Zero slop. Holding a pretty significantly sized laser without issue. 100mm is actually ~100mm of travel and not just overall length. Solid z axis for laser engravers. I do swap over to a much larger z axis for CNC work, but I am sure this would be good for light duty milling

Happy with the tightness of this little linear actuator. No play in any direction except the axis of motion and that is only micrometers!

I saw a lot of reviews that said when they got it, it didn’t work and they had to order something else and other reviews were somewhat positive. I knew I was taking a chance ordering these, But sad to see really don’t work.

I had to order multiple times and items are defective each time. Please avoid from this
