KayteePerfect Chew Hamster

My hamster had fun for the first day but after that doesn’t play with it anymore, took it away for a week to see if it gets his interest again

The media could not be loaded.  I was having such a hard time getting my hammy to stop biting the wires. I had some crayon-shaped chews in her bed before and could never get her to chew them, even rubbed strawberries, bananas and honey on it but to no avail. The second I hung this up she went CRAZY for it. Hasn't tried to really chew the cage anymore, but loves this. I wasn't expecting it to be so long, and the new cage I have doesn't have enough space for it to realistically hang and it makes a big racket but I should have read the length before buying it and for about 2 dollars it's a great purchase especially since she adores it :)

My hamster loves this hanging toy a lot but there is one problem with this product that problem is that You need to wash this toy when you get it because there is a lot of dyes on it

unfortunately my hamster died a day before this arrived, so she never got the chance to use it. but the toy was good quality and she would’ve liked it. i would recommend it.

This toy is great! My hamster was really adorable when she first discovered it and started playing with it. It is a fun game for her to try and catch and hold the chew in place as it dangles, so that she can really chew it.The only problem is, the top connects via a small carabiner clip. On my cage, this would not clip onto the roof of the cage, as the holes are small and just a bit too spaced out to get the clip through 2 holes. I had to remove the clip and hang the toy using a large paper clip that I bent for the purpose. This was pretty easy to do but I probably wouldn't have thought of it if there hadn't been a paper clip sitting right there at the time.

My Syrian hamster loves this! He chews on the thick blocks all night. He even chews on the stick part, but it is sturdy enough not to break or bend. This was a great value for my money. I already bought another one for my other Syrian hamster that we just adopted.

The media could not be loaded.  Got it in the morning so the little guy was sleeping, but once I put the chew in the enclosure plus me rustling his home around a little then a couple of investigation sniffs commenced, and instantly targets were set immediately on that chew which was shocking since he sleeps almost the whole mornings. All prayers go to that chew toy when hes fully up and energized!

Our hamster went right for this toy as soon as he noticed it and statyed chewing on it! He wanted to go into his ball shortly after so we have yet to see him play with it further

This is soft wood. It lasted my hamster one night until it ripped it all apart and chewed all the wood to bits. Compared to her other wood toy what i Brough from pets at home that seems a lot harder wood so it can file it's teeth down on it and stronger.

Our hamster (a Syrian) is not interested in it. Occasionally he will play with it if we scent it with peanut butter. It pretty much just hangs as a pretty decoration, lol.

This was an add-on item but the little guy has no interest in it so it's very durable since no one touches it.
