Funny prank... only downside it you have to open plastic on the box to take out the picture if you are using it to prank someone.

This for my sister-in-law, and we got the biggest laugh out of it when she opened it for Christmas she loved it

Funny to prank someone with. Only drawback is you have to open the plastic and be careful rolling back the tape to take the picture of the real puzzle out of the box.

The recipient did enjoy this, but it wasn't what I expected.Inside the box is a big poster with the actual picture. I guess this makes completing the puzzle easier, but it's only a 500 piece puzzle, with lots of images. A key isn't necessary.I was expecting the recipient wouldn't discover the butts until partway through the completion. So, in my case, I completely missed the recipient's discovery of the poster/surprise, which was disappointing. I didn't know the surprise would happen immediately -- I was 'playing it cool' by not hovering, and planned to casually come over to help with building the puzzle and see the reaction when the image switch was recognized.Some of the cats on the box cover are vaguely similar to the ones in the completed puzzle, but it would have been funnier, and seemed more planned/deliberate, if they were the same cats -- preferably in the samelocations. As it is, the images are almost random.Our puzzle also had one damaged piece which we fixed with a dab of glue. It also had one missing piece, which could be the fault of the puzzle-doers. If we do find that piece, I'll update my review.The inclusion of a few non-traditional zigzag pieces was nice.Overall, this was okay, but not as fun and funny as I had hoped. Maybe the "surprise" poster could be included in a sealed envelope for future versions of these puzzles?

I thought this would be a good gag gift for my mom. What I anticipated was that she would start working the puzzle and it would come together to be a different picture than the one on the outside of the box. That's the joke, right? Well, the box arrived with a paper sleeve around it that indicated that it was a gag gift, so I removed the sleeve before giving the box to my mom. But inside the box, with the puzzle pieces, is a folded piece of paper that says "Surprise!" and has the actual picture on it. So the "surprise" lasts about 5 seconds after you open the box.

We picked this up for our kids and it was a blast. Luckily we read the reviews warning us to get the paper inside that shows how the puzzle should look. The kids knew right away that something was wrong though because the colors on the puzzle don't match up at all.I wish this company had done a better job of making the puzzle a surprise. By omitting the paper inside and matching up the photos so they have similar colors to what's on the box, it could have been fantastic.

There is no joke involved, if you have it delivered straight from Amazon. I had this delivered straight from Amazon, and it said right on the package, that it was a joke puzzle and had a picture of the actual puzzle.

They just slap the label on it to ship it to you. No box, no bag, no nothing. It will arrive filthy and damaged.FURTHER! It tells you to remove the outer packaging showing what the real picture is so the person putting it together gets surprised, right? Well, inside of the box (which is still taped shut to appear "new"), the first thing the recipient see is a small poster that HAS THE REAL IMAGE ON IT! COMPLETELY RUINING THE JOKE! Great idea, HORRIBLE product. Don't buy!
