I'm not really sure how this towelbhas such a high rating overall.I have two labs - one fully grown and one just two months old. When giving them a bath, this towel doesn't really dry off either one of them. it does absorb water when the dog is really really wet, like when it first gets done with a bath. It is absolutely horrible at finishing the job though.I was hoping to avoid using three or four towels every time I decide to bathe the dogs. This towel is not going to help. I wasted my money. Look around, and read reviews of other products. I won't mention it here, but I did find a different towel on Amazon that does a tremendous job.

We have an 11 year old Standard Labradoodle and a 9 month old Standard Goldendoodle. Both are about 65 lbs each. Just ordered two of these towels because it's been so rainy lately and 8 paws seemed like too much to clean. Why didn't I get this towel sooner? Super absorbent!! Nice colors! Has a loop to hang it to dry. Really well made, super soft and lush. The pockets make it so much easier to wipe dawn paws and body! Haven't washed it yet so I can't comment on that but so far I LOVE this towel. Will update if anything surprising happens in the washer. GET ONE NOW!

We use this literally every day that it rains/snows/etc on our fluffy labradoodle. It's amazing. You just put your hands in both ends and have a perfect, all around towel to dry/clean paws. I wash it often and it comes out perfect every time. It's a MUST HAVE item!

Worked like any other towel. After drying my dog for what seemed like forever, one shake and everything was covered in water. Didn't appear to have done anything. Was not worth the cost.

I got this shammy after getting the My Doggy Place door mat. Normally to dry my dog we go through 4 or 5 towels and end up using the hair dryer. I used this shammy and it worked amazing. The shammy just absorbed the water and yet it still felt dry to the touch. My dog was dry in a quarter of the amount of time it normally takes. We've used it after she gets out of the pool and a little rub down and she's completely dry!!! Highly highly recommend this shammy! I recommend the door mat too, for the wet and/or muddy feet!

I love these towel/mats. They work super great in the bottom of crates and as towels or door mats in the wet season to keep muddy paws from mucking up the floors. The absorption power of these are unreal and they dry super quick. I will never be without one or 5 of these lol.

My dog loves these! I have a Labrador Retriever who loves the water. These are so convenient and easy to maneuver around my dog’s coat. These are worth every penny.

My husband is obsessed with making sure the dog is completely dry before coming in from the yard. Before I got this, there were nasty dog towels by the door all the time. This towel not only dries the dog quickly, but looks better than the old rags we used to use. The hand flaps are genius. So easy to get the entire dog dried off, top and bottom!

Works super well! I have a Golden and this really gets the super wetness out of his fur!! This will easily take him for super wet to 80% dry super fast then if i really need to i can use 1 more normal towel the finish the hob or let him air dry. I used to have to use 4 regular towels and this really cuts down on laundry, this towel also drys quick on its own.

I couldn’t believe that this would help that much with bath time for my Giant Schnauzer, but guess what? IT DOES!It is insane how much water it hold and makes the whole drying process much much quicker.

Use this to dry 2 small dogs. Much more efficient than the towel chase! I recommend and would purchase again.

Bought the towel to dry my dog after baths and walks, but find a regular towel does a better job as the chenille doesn't absorb. For reference, she's a collie/greyhound so she's medium haired.Also found the shape to be odd and not big enough for her breed.

Very quick to absorb moisture from my puppy. Comfortable and fun to use.
