Works great for my needs.
I had already tried one of the flat 50 mile 1byone HDTV antennas. It worked OK but was very finicky about where I could put it in my first floor condo in order to pick up the channels 27 miles away that I wanted. Decided to try this omnidirectional 60 mile one in my master bedroom to see if it would work better than the flat 50. With the smart key switch, I was able to quickly pick up the channels I wanted in the bedroom in the back of the condo, which the flat antenna would only pick up in my living room. However, like all these OTA indoor antennas, it will scan & supposedly find a lot of channels (this one showed 35 it scanned in my are) but in actuality, many of those won't come in except as a lot of broken up pixelation. Luckily the channels I really wanted are coming in just great on this antenna with no pixelation so far. I still get most of my live TV from cable but this helps add channels that aren't included in my budget-conscious cable package. Very happy.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
DO NOT BUY THESE! What's most disappointing is that this product is not even listed on their website support. I only get five stations despite the MANY that are listed in my 60-mile range, and NO broadcast networks at all (I only get a few minor local stations and PBS affiliates). I can understand an indoor antenna being fickle, but the fact that 1byone doesn't even list it on their own website (not even under support, where they could have archived it for users who bought it previously) is a sign that even they are distancing themselves from these things. Worse yet, it doesn't bode well for people who buy their newer ones if they hope to read support pages after the latest version comes out...

Not the hoped-for performance in my situation, but excellent customer treatment
It performs almost as well as the $30 unit I already had from another manufacturer. While it won't pick up all the signals that one does, it will pick up some of them better than the other does. It isn't really omni-directional since the signal strength will vary depending on its orientation. (I have only one station closer than 40 miles away and the other locations are spread across about 270 degrees all around me.) I'm not terribly disappointed, but I'm not impressed, either.UPDATE: The mfg and I exchanged several messages exploring why I was not getting the expected results. They were very responsive, which impressed me, as well as being very generous in the solution options they offered. We tried a variety of options, including additional amplification, with generally perplexing results. In the end, they provided a slightly different model antenna which surprised me by capturing the signal from a station I had not been able to receive for several years. I truly am in an unusual and inconsistent dead zone for a lot of television signals and we did not succeed in finding the perfect solution, but I'm satisfied with the results and have no reservations about recommending the company.

I can't cut my cable yet.. only a couple channels work...
I live 35 miles away from a large city, flat terrain, no obstructions. I can get different channels at different setting. More then half are broken with locking video or no video. I have tried different locations, and all three booster settings with about the same results, I get different channels with different settings. No one setting or location will do it. I get a few channels but not 60 miles of coverage at all. More like 20 miles at best. It does work better then the cheap non-powered ones.

Others Get More Channels
We have 4 tv's, each with a different antenna, the others only marked as "50 mile" reception. All the other three get multiple stations (like the local ABC & Fox affiliates) that this one doesn't.UPDATED: Upgraded to three stars from one because of excellent customer service!

This awesome antenna works as advertised
This awesome antenna works as advertised. I just need to watch my local station for News and the picture quality in HD is as good as my cable TV in HD which I dropped a month ago and saving about $50.00 a month.I wish they would made one that can pull more stations in as far as 100 to 200 miles radius, but for around $30.00 this makes my day.You will be satisfied for this purchased.

Worse than 35 mile Amazon basics antanae
Worst antannae. I got two channels. My Amazon basics non amplified 35 mile gets around 20 channels......Not impressed. Actually the opposite this is false advertising that sold this I will be returning this product

Works well but location is everything!
Was hoping this would pull in a PBS station 50 miles away but being in north Jersey, with the station on Long Island, NY, the Manhattan skyline apparently blocks the signal. Bottom line is that out of 69 stations that should be available to receive in my home, this unit usually pulls in about 55 of them. Pretty good.
