I will admit that at first, I did not like this. It had a chemical smell which I did not like. After a few days of airing out, the smell went away, and now I love this thing.It is easy to put on and take off. I can throw it over my heavy robe when my dog decides she needs a late-night visit to the yard. I've even put it on over my regular coat for added warmth on an extremely cold day.Added bonus? I had to pick my elderly mother up from the ER one morning after paramedics took her in. She was wearing nothing but a light gown. This hoodie was a godsend. It was easy to slip over her head while she sat in a wheelchair. She has limited motion in one of her shoulders and really struggles with putting on a coat. That was not an issue with this hoodie. Since the armholes begin at about the waste, there is no need to raise your arm up in order to put it on. Although she complained about it making her "look like a big, black bear", she marveled at how warm it was. It looks like I may end up buying another one of these for her.

My friend is always cold even around a campfire. She always gets tangled up in a blanket, so I figured this might help. She loves it & all of her camping friends want one too. She says it washes up great.

This is very cozy and seems well-made, but out of the packaging it smells strongly of something like burnt plastic. I put it in the dryer with a dryer sheet for 15 minutes, then set it on top of the dryer and now my laundry room smells like plastic. I'll leave it to air and hope it dissipates in a few days or a week. For something meant for lounging, the sleeve cuffs are also surprisingly tight - I am fairly small. That said, it's got a nice feel to it, and although it's a very warm fabric, the fact that it's not closed on the sides means you can keep from getting TOO warm. I look forward to using it. Just maybe not very soon.

I love it except you should make the sleeves on the forearms more roomy so plus size people can comfortably wear this. The thing is all around huge and definitely would fit people even larger than me on the body but the forearm part of sleeve is much too tight. I am a size 3x and around 280 lbs. I may deconstruct the sleeves myself and add in a panel of fabric to make them larger... luckily i can sew but most of your customers probably cant do that. I suggest fixing that so you can sell to more people. it is such a great product otherwise. so soft and warm. its a shame!

Awesome for snuggling at home, or excellent over a coat at a football game! Long enough to go under your rear on a cold medal bleacher. Awesome pocket in front keeps your hands toasty! Love this! ❤️

I had rotator cuff surgery and can not put on clothes very easily. I could not put on my coat since I can not move my arm. A friend had one of these for camping because she is always cold. I tried hers on and it was comfy. I thought of my friends poncho when I was going in for surgery and got this. It has been a life saver for me. I get tons of complements on it every time I go to the hospital or doctors appointment, people think it is genius.

Nice and comfy! Very soft and it’s unisex even if it weren’t I’d still use it because it’s just that cozy! I recommend it! It’s a cute hoodie to just relax and be a couch potato. Gift approved!

I ordered a couple of these Catalonia ponchos. I was excited to get them and I really wanted to love them, but I did not. There were features of this poncho that I did like, but the bad far outweighed the good in this case. The items arrived in shrink-wrapped packages. Immediately upon opening them, they had a very foul odor. It was a very strong, horrible, overwhelming chemical smell. I unfolded one poncho and tried it on. Right off the bat, I will tell you that the sewing and construction of the garment did not match either the description or the photo of the item pictured from the ordering page. The back of the wrap seemed to be cut off far shorter than the front. In the picture at ordering, the front and back edges matched. As you can see, the sides were far from even. The cargo pocket on the front was sewn on crooked. The arms had cuffs, and for me, they felt a little tight. I have small wrists, so if anyone had larger wrists, it likely would not have fit them. After only about a minute of wearing and photographing the item, the strong chemical smell made me feel as if I could not breathe. My arms began to burn. I removed the garment and took it to my basement in preparation for returning it, and immediately went to shower. The chemicals were so strong that I wondered if they might be caustic. Now, to be fair to the garment, there were a few things about it I did really like. The body did feel roomy. The fabric was soft and I even liked the feel of the sherpa lining, which was also in the hood. There was a nice snap at the neckline. If I were wearing this garment outside, I know I would appreciate that snap. I wanted to love this poncho, as I said above, but there were two deal breakers for me. First the missing fabric in the back and crooked pocket, and second, and by far the worst, was the chemical smell. It was really bad and I didn't feel well after wearing the poncho for only a couple of minutes and breathing the odor. I returned our ponchos. I do not know if that odor would wash out if someone were to launder the poncho, as I did not choose to keep mine. Perhaps all their ponchos are not sewn as badly as mine was either. For me, though I really wanted to love these ponchos and intended to purchase one for the entire family, they simply wouldn't work. I honestly could not recommend them to anyone. The smell alone was a deal breaker for me. I gave the item one star for comfort because it was nice and roomy, but the chemical smell made it very uncomfortable.

what a comfy and fun pullover.It is so SOFT and I bought the poncho style so open on the sides but has sleeves. Its magical!
