F FORITO Palm Rest Cover Skin with Trackpad Protector Compatible with MacBook Pro 16 Inch (M2 Pro / M2 Max / M1 Pro / M1 Max) with Touch ID Model A2485 (Space Grey)

I recently upgraded to the M2 16" Macbook Pro and whenever I used the trackpad, my fingers would get really irritated (like a burning sensation). The same thing happened in the past with my other macs, so I decided to again buy a trackpad cover. At first, I tried some of the other brands, usually they were transparent and plastic/matte, but those still burned. Finally, I came back to what I knew worked which were these one which are thicker and rugged. Works perfectly! I can use my mac all day and no burning!Overall, it is easy to apply and sticks well. The cover is slightly darker than the mac, but I could care less as I only wanted something to prevent the burning, but just keep that in mind if that matters to you.Note: This review does not reflect on the palm rest cover as I did not use it nor plan to use it.

It is a great product and works really well but I am sure it would work better if it were packaged with a hard board to protect it in postage. I received a Beverly bent skin and this has caused issues in adhesion and the overall functionality of the product but this is at least 95% due to shipping and handling but it would help if there were a firmer piece of board protecting it in the event that the delivery is bad so the end user experience is better.

Easy to apply, does what it's supposed to do, but it's definitely not a good match for Space Grey.The texture is also significantly more textured than the aluminum chassis of the actual MBP.Other than these complains, it's a good product.Picture 1: With artificial soft white lightingPicture 2: With natural daylightBoth looks silver.

Works great - super easy installation if you just take your time and line stuff up.Trackpad portion slightly delayed swipes. Otherwise perfect.

Unless your hands are extremely still, and you have expert focus, you probably won't install it perfectly.Don't worry. Nobody will notice.The palm rest was easier to install than the trackpad - the trackpad that comes separate is slightly smaller, and is the one I preferred to install. It's borders are ever so slightly smaller than the MacBooks trackpad, so if you place it so that there's a tiny bit of space on each side, you'll be fine.IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE IS:The texture feels different than the original trackpad - but in a good way. It's a tiny bit 'gritty' (?) and rough, and just feels awesome. I love how the original trackpad feels, but this is somehow even nicer; plus I don't have to worry about long nails or metal bracelets/watches scratching it up.Definitely cop! If you completely botch it, it's cheap enough so that you can buy another and it'll still be worth it. Think about your Macbook's resale value. (It's much more valuable than $9).

I obviously didn't get the same product these 5-star reviewers received. It couldn't possibly be that these high reviews are false, not on Amazon. My product came in a flat envelope. It wasn't bent. The Macbook Pro is absolutely new. The surface was clean. All of the standard reasons to blow-off a negative review are not applicable here. I'm severely disappointed by the product and the fact that it is on Amazon. Bottom line, if you're looking for an adhesive trackpad, this isn't it.

The only thing I would recommend is a better way to package + ship this product, because it had bent marks straight out the box due to damage of not being protected...Other than that little hiccup, This product was very easy to install. A tip? Patience & use a card to smooth out air bubbles! You will thank me later dude I swear. I am a perfectionist so I took my time to line up the edges. It helped me to punch out the middle protector, and take off the white paper from the edge around the “mouse pad” leaving the white paper to protect either big side of the protector (if this makes any sense) then peel like a sticker and “comb” the protector onto the laptop. It puts it on perfect. Also I used the separate mouse pad protector It came with. It was a little smaller and fit better for my preference. Thank you to the company for supplying this!

Edited:The company reached out and offered a very satisfactory resolution to my complaint. The good customer service might calm your nerves if you want to try this product. I liked the look and feel of the guard, but I needed to figure out a better way to install—or not be so fussy. (The company has not paid me to write this. I'm just impressed by their outreach and think that's notable.)Original:Quality has gone downhill since I last bought this. I'm surprised there are so many glowing reviews.This is now so difficult to install—without damaging—that I recommend a professional does this with more tools. The palmguard is unbelievably fragile and will show marks if you try to carefully adjust during installation. It doesn't help that the fit is off by a little bit, so lining things up is a gamble. I put aside my entire morning to patiently and carefully install, and there was just no way to do it well without damaging it.My third attempt left me with a centered palmguard, at the expense of marking it up because the fit required a little "bending" that brought other troubles.I'm probably going to peel this off and just not use a palmguard.

This is about the best one I have found. Tried a couple of others that did not stick well. I have previously used Moshi but unfortunately the did not have one yet for this model MacBook Pro.Overall it works very well.

Ich habe das Produkt gekauft, um vor Kratzern zu schützen. An sich hält es sein Versprechen, nur hält es an den Seiten nicht, womöglich der Kleber nicht ganz drauf ist.
