I had an exercise machine that came with a heart rate monitor but it was missing. I found this one to fit and work perfectly.

Didn't work on my stationary bike. Maybe they should list compatible devices. Amazon accepted the return.

Fits perfect on my Older styled NordicTrack Pro.

My Pro Form (ProForm) 725tl treadmill had a wired headband pulse sensor for my forehead, worked great until it didn't. I researched replacing it and "everybody" said you can't get it, out of luck. I tried to figure out how to convert it to bluetooth....no luck. As you might know, on this treadmill, and many others, your pulse can determine the speed and slant you run on in at least one of the programs, which is a great feature that adapts your workout to your condition. Anyway, long story shorter, this worked great, and perhaps not as intrusive (or sweaty) as the headband. It also works on my Nordictrack ski machine, buying a second one. Thank goodness this product is available!!

I was skeptical that this heart rate monitor would even work, let alone be accurate, but for the extremely low price, decided to take the gamble. Glad I did. Not only does it work, but I checked it against my Omron wrist blood pressure/heart rate monitor, and to my amazement, both displayed EXACTLY the same heart rate. The other feature I was unsure about was the earlobe clip; i.e., was it going to be uncomfortable? It isn't; in fact, you're barely aware it's there. Highly recommended.Two notes: (1) It apparently comes directly from China, so delivery time is long, like 3-4 weeks. (2) I just noticed that it's out of stock and Amazon doesn't know when it will become available. But if you need one, I suggest checking Amazon periodically so you can grab one.
