Great Price, Great Book!!
This book is informative, funny, intriguing and just way too cool! My G'son bought one for his Fiancé, I took a quick glance and went to my computer to order one for ME!! The writing is well done, super humor along with some practical advice, and reviews for Haunted Hotels and Bars. If you enjoy mysteries and drama, this is great because it's written with short chapters on the city/town and what is available. Never has the paranormal been so exciting to read. 5 STARS FROM ME FOR SURE!!

Amazing travel haunted atlas
If you want a travel atlas in the haunted but fun realm then this is book for you. It's broken down by different areas/cities and it was written in a fun light hearted way! I got my friend this book for Christmas and she loved it and really enjoyed all the foodie recommendations as well!

Perfect for a spooky roadtrip
Arrived within 24 hrs of ordering!Love the podcast & had to grab a copy. It's even better then I expected, and is a great start for the paranormal or true crime fan who wants to incorporate something spooky or creepy into their travel plans. Each city in the book includes a paranormal story, true crime story, a list of Em & Christine's favorite places to check out, a list of haunted hotels, spooky tours, & other weird locations to check out

LOVED this book
This is the first book I've finished in 12 months. This year has sucked and I haven't been able to concentrate on anything in awhile. I fully expected to read a few pages and then toss it into my "need to read" pile. Haunted Road Atlas got my attention from the first page and held it until the end.I love the comments from the two authors through out the book. It was just like playing the podcast (which is like hanging out with friends you haven't seen in forever, and after five minutes, it's like nobody ever left). I highly suggest this book for anyone that likes traveling odd places, paranormal, or true crime. Or want suggestions for great drinking establishments or ICE CREAM. I have more then a few things to add to my bucket list after this book.Easy to read, the book itself is nicely organized and informative. The stories the authors shared throughout are worth the book on it's own. Book binding is sturdy and I'm not worried about putting it on my shelf. Where it will stay until I want to read it again! I'm not loaning this one out, but I'm planning to buy a couple of copies for Christmas gifts.Thank you!

Spooky Good!
Whether you’re a listener or ATWWD or just looking for a fun paranormal + true crime read, this book is worth it! I signed up to pre-order the minute I heard Em and Christine were writing book, and was counting down until the day it arrived. I was not disappointed. The two really make it feel like they’re right there narrating to you, jumping off the page. Each location has fun little details like haunted finds, restaurants, and some even feature a little QR code that takes you right to the designated episode for that location so you can listen along! I’ve been a fan of ATWWD for years and felt so happy to have this gem on my bookshelf - think of it as a guide that your two besties (who happen to be experts) put together, it’s a great time! Amazing job, you two!

Terrific book EXCEPT
Loved the book but hated things being labeled“black” run. Why is this even a necessary remark? They don’t mention gay run or Chinese or Japanese run. I was insulted by this. Who cares who runs or owns a place??

Paranormal & True Crime Destinations!
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the ALC.I love Em and Christine’s podcast And That’s Why We Drink, so when I heard they were publishing a book, I knew I needed it. This book is part true crime, part ghost stories, and part travel guide. Similar to the format of the podcast, this book pairs one paranormal story with one true crime tale for each major U.S. city included in the book, organized by geographic location. As a listener of the podcast, I enjoyed that the audiobook is narrated by the authors. It felt like listening to a more polished and streamlined version of the show, sans the signature banter. This didn’t have a lot of new content; most of the stories were previously covered on the podcast. What makes this special for me as a fan are all the inside jokes, personal anecdotes, and recommendations of things to eat, drink, and do in each city. You do not have to be a podcast listener to enjoy this book; however, since there are so many references to the show, I recommend the physical book over the audiobook to readers who are not already familiar with the podcast so you can skip over parts that aren’t relevant to you. But you should definitely give ATWWD a try!All my spooky and true crime babes need this to help plan your next vacation.

Not my cup of tea
I used to love ATWWD but I have now stopped listening to the show as the stories were getting a bit too intense and graphic to listen to. The paranormal stuff is great, but the true crime is a bit too much to take in. I had this book for a while, it came with a sticker mark on it which I couldn't get off but other than that the book was great quality. It is an atlas of the US.I have now sold this book on.
