Dreamworks Dragons Defenders of Berk Action Dragon Figure, Hookfang Monstrous Nightmare

This was very exciting to see my nephew open as a gift. He loved it right away. i Loved the detail and the price. Once it got into my daughters hands months later 16 month old. She managed to snap a wing off.

Excellent toy and excellent service. We are unable to get this series of toys in the UK ( if they are available they are really expensive), so we had to use Amazon.com. I am really impressed with the delivery and service from Amazon.com. only took 4 days to be delivered to the UK.As for stormfly and Hookfang...well my 6 year old son loves it, he is really into the DreamWorks dragons TV series, and these toys just compliment the programme.

Purchased the four dragons (Toothless, Belch & Barf, Hookfang, and Stormfly) for my daughter's birthday. She is turning 8 and LOVES the Dragonriders cartoon. She asked for the "action figure" dragons and I think she is going to be very happy to receive these. Hookfang shoots discs from his wings. Definitely going to find these things all over the house. But as long as she's not firing at the dogs....

My four year old was so excited to get this toy. The wing broke off after 4 days of not very rough play. He also received Toothless, from the same line, and one of Toothless's wings is about to snap off, too. Over $30 each for this garbage. BUYER BEWARE.

Hookfang is an okay toy. My kids aren't very rough with toys so he hasn't broken. My biggest complaint with Hookfang is his shooting action. The disks just kind of sit on his wings so they usually fall off before the kids get a chance to shoot them. And when he does shoot, the disks just kind of fall on the floor a foot in front of you. You definitely can't mount a cool aerial attack with him. This is a 3 star toy with an extra star knocked off for Spin Master's customer service. We've bought 4 of these Spin Master dragons and the only one that works as advertised is the catapult version of Toothless. Stormfly is the second best, she works just not great. When ordering the dragons I noticed that Spin Master had responded to a number of the negative reviews saying they would like a chance to fix the problem. So I gave them a chance. I called and waited on hold for 20 minutes before deciding to e-mail instead. The only response I got to my e-mail was that I needed to call. So today I called again and waited on hold for another 15 minutes before giving up on Spin Master's Customer Service.

Got this for my son, he is 3 and is tough on his toys. In the few months I have had this both wings and the head have broken off. It is made of a very stiff brittle plastic. I have been able to glue it all back together with crazy glue.. he breaks off a piece a week but I am able to keep it together and the glue does not show .

My 5-year-old son received this for Christmas. It's great! It looks a lot like Hookfang in the Dragons of Berk shows.It seems to be well made, too, even with all of the "spines" coming off of its body. None of them have broken off. It's sturdy, and looks like it will last for a long time.
