This dishwasher gel is just as good as cascade, if not better. I wanted something with less chemicals, so I went with Seventh Generation. I tried the powder at first, but that left residue on my dishes and inside my dishwasher. So I decided to try the gel, and it's great! No more residue, and my dishes are all squeaky clean. If you are trying to decide between the powder and the gel, definitely get the gel. And if you are wondering about how strong the lemon smell is, it is very faint; when the dishwasher is running you can't even smell it. And there is no smell left on the dishes. I have used this product for years and love it. I could no longer get it where I shop online (where they ALWAYS sent it in plastic bags) so thought I'd order it on Amazon. Bad idea! One of the bottles had split open and it leaked through the Seventh Generation box and into the Amazon box which also had other products in it. Now Amazon is telling me that to get a refund on the bottle that split I have to send it back to them. What a waste of resources! I cannot find any options for just sending them pictures to show what happened to get my money back. Lesson learned...

Our house favorite detergent cause it cleans well and the smell isn’t overpowering. I typically do fragrance-free cause we can’t handle strong perfumes and scents, so this being a scented item was mild enough for us to handle. Plus the price was half the price of local retailers!

Perfect for washing the dishes and cleans better than most detergents. Doesn’t leave water spots and is gentle on my glass dishes.

Not available locally so glad Amazon has it. Glad not to have to use petroleum-based product; this is plant-based, environmentally friendly. Works great; pleasant smell.

Dirty dishes go into the dishwasher, clean dishes come out. There is no residue, no funny taste or smell. It doesn’t leave the machine dirty either. Love it!
