This model replaced the R500 before it. I have used these devices in residential and commercial settings. After set up... Pretty much set and forget. Unleashed has come a long way from where it started but it really is like zone director lite at this point.The built in guest network isolation and trimmers let you taylor access to when places are actually open.They used to be about $650 a piece. But until wifi 6 is more common... This is a solid WAP that will out perform things that cost a lot more. And one of these can often take the place of a few competing WAPs.

Exactly as describe. Their customer service is Absolutely amazing! Great people! Will use them again! I needed a little guidance to help get my system set up, Marc went above and beyond to ensure I was able to set it up!

I have tried to connect either of the two AP I purchased to three different networks. I have gotten into them with the SN number which is not in the directions. I have direct wired it to a computer, phone, chromebook. I have downloaded puTTY to go into the command prompts to try to resolve the issue which is what they recommend. No Dice. Their customer service says they tried to call me but didn't. By the way you can only get support if you have an account like a business so buying off amazon will not get you there. I know a good amount about Networking and a friend who works for a large hotel chain doing this. If I do not get a call back from ruckus shortly that resolves I am returning.

Awesome coverage, works well with my smart home devices, overall a fantastic product.

I see a review from anonymous saying to avoid these. I have a 12,000 sq foot home with a 6,000 sq ft basement. The home has many stone arches and interior stone walls. The coverage is amazing! When I first installed these (with a zone director) I was very skeptical and thought that I would need many AP's. Turns out that 4 gives perfect coverage throughout the entire home. I have 3 VLANS set up which took only minutes to create. Now I can move seamlessly throughout the home without ever dropping a signal or having to switch SSID's. I hate to criticize someone I don't know but to write a negative review about Ruckus products saying they don't perform is more a reflection on the "anonymous" reviewer than on the product. I stand by these 100%.

I'm a Ruckus Big Dog reseller and had an eval that I received for taking and passing a reseller test .I configured an R600 and it was a bit tricky.This one is a disaster.Get yourself a Netgear or Cisco AP if you want free supportI got to call m Ruckus rep and see WTF is up with support.

I just receive mines and it's the Unleashed version.
