Nika's Home Patchouli Soy Candle - 12oz Mason Jar - Non-Toxic Soy Candle-Hand Poured Patchouli Candle- Handmade, Long Burning Candle-Highly Scented Candle-All Natural, Clean Burning Candle

I purchase Nika's Home jars fairly often because they last a while, they burn evenly, the wicks are good quality and there is little to no soot. This is the patchouli I've been searching for - ONLY patchouli, no other scents added. The one I received has good scent throw (after reading reviews, not sure this is consistent with every candle). I trim the wick a bit before lighting. Once the scent kicks in, it fills the room, without being overpowering. I've always been pleased with this brand so I was glad to find that they made this scent!

The candle has no scent at all when open and smell yes when you light no I burned it for about and hour. I the scent Patchouli is strong this is why its one of my favorites. This not a good product.

This came came in nice mason jar. It is a good size soy candle for the price.I purchased Parchouli. I love the aroma.I didn't comment on legevity because I just received it and only burned it once. I will probably order again.***Now it has been one year since my original post. I still love the candle. I have not burned it all that much, but probably several times. It is lasting very well, since when I do burn it, I do for several hours. It is only down about 1/4. To me it is well worth the money.

The candle jar is very attractive and the soy wax burns very clean. However, there isn’t much aroma to it. I was pretty excited when it came. I haven’t had a patchouli candle for years so was really looking forward to it. The aroma is extremely weak both when it is burning and also even smelling it in the open container. So, while the presentation of the product and the clean burning get high marks, the lack of aroma drops it down to, at best, 3 stars.

Yeah I thought maybe the older reviews were wrong when they said these have a weak scent or no scent at all, you know sometimes companies change formulas a bit so I figured it could be better at this point. I just really wanted to try a patchouli scented candle. It smells interesting before burning it, but im telling ya, this thing has no scent when burning. Leave it going for hours and all you'll have gotten is a little extra light from the flame- but no scent, seriously. I feel like I have a good nose and it just doesn't smell like anything. I gave it 2 stars because the design is cute and I like that much.So shoppers, as of 2022, this candle still smells like nothing. Not worth the purchase.

I was excited to try this candle and the packaging/look of it were nice upon opening. However, I have been burning this candle every night on my bedside table for about a week now and I can say that the scent is extremely weak. As in I can’t even tell that I’ve had a candle burning in my room even after having it lit for hours. It’s about 12 inches from my head on my table and I can’t even smell it… I understand that’s it’s an all natural candle which can at times be less aromatic than others in past experience but I can’t even tell the scent of this candle (patchouli) when I burn it for hours and this tends to me a strong scent which is I chose it. Such a disappointment :-( I wouldn’t waste my money on this, spend the money on something that you can actually smell which is the whole reason you buy a candle to begin with. This company is a scam and I’m submitting a BBB review against them, stop ripping your customers off. I’d you can’t produce quality product stop selling it!

Overall, the Patchouli candle has a good scent. It's not overpowering, which I like. My apartment is on the small side, so this candle works well for me. However, the wicks are almost impossible to trim once the candle burns halfway down because an adult hand (unless very petite) won't fit inside with a small pair of scissors. I purchased Patchouli and Sandalwood, both of which smelled like the genuine scent, which leads me to conclude the maker used authentic oils, which is a good thing. Compared to other soy candles, these are good values. They would be perfect if the maker poured them into squatter jars for ease of wick trimming. If you're using plain matches to light them, you won't be able to do so after a point. I really don't like using electronic lighters, I prefer natural matches. They do burn evenly without pooling, which is another pro. I would like to see this company offer them in jars with a wider mouth to allow for proper wick care. If they did, I would give these five stars and invest in more of them.
