Here in Florida we have Sandy Bottoms and these type of anchors do not have a self burying design therefore they do drag fairly easily. If you're in a shallow area and you can bury it with your foot if it will work fairly well. For an inexpensive semi light anchor it does its job as expected. The quality of the galvanized dip and quality of the roof is pretty good compared to some I've seen. For the overall purpose of a anchoring device for a light jet ski I would say it's not too bad and would buy it again.

Great so far. Maybe to good I hooked a huge tree stump 27 feet deep and was a scary little adventure but saved the anchor! Would buy again however I did re tie the knot at bottom of anchor because it just has a very basic knot mailed out. Use it for my sea eagle 370. Works great...oh also replaced carabiner, one it came with was to small and sharp edges for rope on kayak. Put on a larger one and works great, just hook it to front or back of boat.

Same anchor as my local sporting super store (Academy) but five dollars cheaper. Haven't actually put it to the test yet, but it seems sturdy and well made.

This product has been great use it on my small john boat but also I product I use for hunting and keeps about 3 dozen decoys from floating away in the strong current of the California delta will be buying another one for my second decoy mat
