I got a 5 because that was my baby’s size he was also turning one and it fit too snug so definitely a size up

Q: My 18 month old just started to grow out of the 9-12 month shoe. Should I just go up to the next size or go by age?

I would probably go up to the next size. But if they are to small just exchange them for the proper size. Also maybe have his foot measured and go by his size.
