Ticonderoga Erasable Checking Wood-Cased Pencils, Pre-Sharpened, Red, 12 Count

Ticonderogo is by far my favorite pencil brand for actual pencils -the kind you have to sharpen :) My daughters math teacher requested red pencils for her pre-algebra class. These pencils are perfect. The are pre-sharpened, write smoothly and are easy to erase. Best brand by far!

Dropping digital and going old-school- use I these red, blue pencils for my text books, and my Bible studies. Works great, erases, does not bleed......sharpens well, eraser on top of pencil. Just like my teacher used to use. A Classic.

These pencils shade and made line art easy to doodle or draw. I use these for entire sketchbook that was 120 pages. Only con was sometimes the lead of the pencil would break easily.

These are still my go to pencils. These are used in the tattoo industry a lot. I just love drawing with the color red. It's not to dark and not to light. Once i get my base drawing done in red. I can go over the lines with a regular drawing pencil and correct parts or add more detail.

Ticonderoga pencils truly are a better pencil. They write better, sharpen better, erase better... Over the years of teaching, writing, and grading papers I have learned to use only Ticonderoga. These red pencils sharpen better and don't break off the tip; I don't have to keep sharpening over and over until I am left with a small stub all in one day. I can write lighter or darker, depending on what I need. The eraser works better than other pencil erasers too. They erase nice and clean. We also use these red pencils for marking scripture passages and they are the perfect color for that. We can lightly color in the passage and still be able to read it. I highly recommend these pencils for all your red pencil needs :)

I discovered Ticonderoga two years ago and I love them. The red ones are best for correcting homeworks with notes added in the margin. The eraser at the end of the pencil really rubs the 'fault' out like even a Staedtler cannot. I also have the plain pencils in black and they are perfect for drawing, writing and again the eraser is perfect. I recommend the Ticonderoga pencils in both black and red lead.

I bought as alternative for prismacolor col-erase color pencil, and to be honest I love it and next time I will buy the blue one. Thank you

They are good except that the tip keep breaking. I think it was damaged in the shipping process

For people that want a cheap but reliable alternative to coloured eraseable pencils, this is it. I love using it with certain pieces and it leaves a nice red undertone to certain things. It is rather waxy but you can barely notice it if you're using it as a light undersketch and not firmly pressing the pencil down. Very useful item. Only thing to be really careful about is breaking the inside of the pencil, just be gentle with it like you would any pencil.
