Dries to mat finish. Here is how to SHINE that leather jacket...
Chamberlain's Leather Milk Healing Balm works great. However, no balm or conditioner will cover all scratches. To blend/cover REALLY stubborn scratches you have use a colored leather cream. But no worries, this conditioner blends/covers most scratches. You'll like it! Applicator sponge works great to control and move around the product. Yes, it darkens finished leather, even dark leathers. 2-3 hours to dry. If your leather jacket was manufactured with a mat or satin finish, this conditioner will dry to a mat finish. Don't like the dull mat finish on your leather jacket? Me neither. Let's give that old leather some shine again. Hah! Don't bother hunting for leather jacket shiner. I didn't find one. But I did figure out how to shine my jacket. It's easy. To shine the surface of your leather jacket, you have to apply a light wax and buff to a shine. Here is how I did it on my medium-to-dark brown genuine leather jacket. My jacket came finished from manufacturer with a distressed finish and satin shine. The distressing job was terrible. I used Leather Milk Healing Balm and Leather Honey conditioner to condition, darken, and cover/blend those areas where distressing looked unrealistic. I left areas of the jacket untreated where the "distressing" looked natural and realistic (at the seams, cuffs, collar, bottom hem, etc.). Allow to dry 2-3 hours. To create shine you need a neutral-colored WAX. I used Kiwi shoe wax "Neutral." Don't use wax, you say? It will clog the leather's pores and restrict it from breathing? Hah! This cow is dead! Forget all that nonsense. We're only going to use a little wax. Besides, I've been globbing wax on my LEATHER shoes for YEARS and they've never complained for being short of breath. In fact, my shoes look AWESOME. Be aware applying neutral shoe wax will further darken your leather. Experiment on an inconspicuous spot. OK. Cut an old cotton tshirt and ball it up so you have nice smooth dipping surface. Very lightly rub the ball into the wax. Very lightly rub the wax onto the jacket working in small circles. I say LIGHTLY because we only want to wax to lay on the upper surface texture of the leather. Do not smash the wax in the leather's microscopic cracks. Waxing the leather's TOP surface will bring out the leather's awesome texture and allow the unwaxed lower microscopic cracks to breath. If you are waxing a distressed jacket, apply the wax lightly to those areas that are NOT worn or distressed. Apply the wax to the center patch of non-distressed leather, working in circles from the center of the area gradually applying less and less wax as you near those distressed seams. Again, waxing only the very top surface of the leather's texture. Allow the wax to dry, 5 min. With a soft, clean cloth or clean, horsehair shoe brush, VERY lightly buff the waxed areas. See? Easy and AWESOME. To make the leather shinier, repeat the process as many times as you like. Wax repels water, adding a layer of protection, preserving your leather jacket. To remove wax, towel off the wax with a towel and rubbing alcohol. I looked EVERYWHERE for this information and came up empty. I hope folks find this helpful.

Fantastic product - read my application tips
Less is more! Apply super lightly This container is a lifetime supply. The sponge pad is just soft enough to never scuff.and barely pick up any polish It's true, it's probably 90% coconut oil. How that justifies the other reviewer's 1-star, I'll never know. They've whipped up the oil for easy application. Texture is somewhere between whipped and lotion. I cleaned each pair first with a clean damp old undershirt and let them dry. Start with a tiny dab on the sponge and move fast to apply evenly. You don't want a glob to sit on the leather too long. It does make the leather darker, and the glob will leave a dark spot. The leather readily absorbs the stuff and will mostly even out within a couple days - probably faster if your house is warmer than 68F. I was a little worried about the darkness and unevenness but 2 days later and they're less darkened and no unevenness. I did 2 pairs of loafers and 1 pair of boots and probably used 1/4 tsp total. One was an especially soft leather I was concerned about scuffing with the sponge - nope. All 3 pairs look so much better. The boots had light shoe polish already and this stuff made it through. The leather looks and feels "healthier", rejuvenated. I haven't tested water resistance yet since that wasn't my goal. For $16, I'm pretty sure I'll never need to buy another. I'm testing out on my couch and recliner tomorrow. If it goes well, I bet I'll still have half the container left.

Easy. Great for rejuvenation and regular upkeep.
Pros: Very easy to use Nice light coconut scent Conditions the leather nicely Reduces the appearance of scratches. Use this on the couch before it looks dried. Ours is still in good condition, but now it. looks new! And yes, new IS slightly darker. There was minor sun fading. Cons: Don't have any so far Considerations: This doesn't HEAL the scratches. They are still there, but the conditioning does reduce their appearance. Finer scratches disappear quickly, deep ones will still be noticed by texture. I might have to do a little light sanding (NOT 600! Too coarse! 😬😔) For the deeper scratches I scooped up some of the milk on my finger tho work it into the leather without losing a bunch into the sponge. I let it sit a little, just a few minutes, then buffed it into the surrounding leather. Worked out great! If you're doing the whole couch, put the jar in the fridge so it gets stiff. You'll get less on the sponge, and less will soak into the sponge before it gets worked into the leather. I learned it the opposite way. I opened it as soon as I got it (it's December in Minnesota) and used it on a couple scratches. I had to press really hard to get the "milk" onto the sponge. When I used it today, I pressed really hard again while looking at the work in front of me and realized I had squished it out of the jar! 🤣 Also, it's kinda hard to wash off your hands. Wear gloves if you wish. Overall, I'm really liking this product.

Works Well
I ordered this looking to refurbish and protect my leather bag I use for school everyday. I got the bag new a little less then a year ago and it definitely took a beating over the past two semesters (see brown bag before pictures above). I spent around 20 minutes buffing the conditioner into the leather. There was absolute change in the shade of the leather with it becoming darker and a little glossier. I did expect this and actually like the slightly darker outcome. Given that the bag seems to have been basically untreated when I got it I’m assuming that’s why it showed so much wear and tear in such a short period. Additionally, after treating this bag for the first time it seems like it would be more resilient to wear and tear moving forward. I’m really not sure if there is any way I would have been able to refurbish the light virgin leather look without some form of darkening. Luckily I was anticipating/ looking forward to the outcome of it becoming slightly darker and I would caution anyone to carefully consider this ahead of time. I also did my wife’s black bag which also worked very well. There was no noticeable darkening with the black being very dark already. Over all very pleased with how the product performed. Please see the before and after pictures I posted of both the black and brown bags. After pictures were taken within 15 minutes of completing application. If I notice any notable changes I’ll post updated pictures. Finally this was my first attempt at restoring leather bags and the first product/ brand Ive used. I spent quite a bit of time looking around the internet before landing with this one and I feel I am satisfied enough to commit to this brand moving forward.

Amazing product!
Amazing!! I’ve been searching for a leather conditioner for my chairs for a couple years. I’ve tried many products, but nothing worked well. This product definitely did the trick! Easy to apply and took one coat. I used about 2/3 of a tin for each chair. The picture shows one chair that has been treated and the other one has not. They look brand new again!

Shines well, but not much else.
I had high expectations about this product. It's honestly nothing more than a greasy paste-like material. You dab the sponge - DAB it, don't scoop, this stuff adheres to the sponge in great quantities - and rub it on your leather. It really does give a good shine, but, it doesn't last. Once the material has dried for a few hours to 24 hours, the shine/lustre starts to fade. To be fair, I used this on a newer pair of shoes whose shine was already established and this product enhanced the shine. However, on older shoes, no such luck. Temporary lustre at best. Additionally, I used this to repair scratches on various leather products. I've not seen this whatsoever. Instead, I've seen a temporary "cover" with the product, i.e., it gives the appearance that the product has somehow removed the scratch, but after the product sits for about twenty-four hours, the scratches start to reappear. Ditto for scuff-marks. I also used the product again a few days later on the same shoes and then buffed with a clean cloth just in case. In that situation, the shoe did shine nicely but again, temporary shine/scratch "repair." As a shining product, this does work well. However, it does not produce anything above and beyond that for me. It's greasy, too, so be mindful that if you're using it, your hands will end up feeling greasy and I'm unsure if this would stain your clothing (I've been lucky so far, no accidents). I can't say I recommend the product except that it will absolutely give lustre, albeit temporarily.

Great conditioner for leather shoes
After a little bit of research I decided to purchase this conditioner about a year ago and it works great. The negative reviews about it being sticky or not working makes me think people are using it incorrectly or expecting miracle results. I use this conditioner on my shoes every 3-6 months or if I haven’t worn a pair of shoes in a long time and they’ve been sitting in the back of my closet I’ll touch them up with this conditioner. I would recommend to also purchase a leather brush. It helps take off excess conditioner and will reduce the stickiness. The conditioner is essentially grease so you can’t expect it to miraculously not be sticky. The grease is what locks in the moisture and keeps out the dirt. Finally, the image I added. I bought these shoes from Goodwill and they were badly neglected (light brown on left side). After giving these shoes some TLC I used the conditioner and brushed off the excess. After about 5 minutes they were good as new (shoe on right side). I was actually pleasantly surprised with how dark the shoes were. I repeated the process 2-3 times to really make sure I got every spot. TL;DR; This stuff rocks, buy a leather brush with it, watch a YouTube video on how to use leather milk, and use sparingly (a little goes a long way).

real good product
Smells soo good love the coconut scent, it is very moisturizing to the bag gives a nice sheen. I didn't use much to cover a large leather bag as it is very concentrated so a little goes a long way. This container should be able to last you awhile. Consistency is great not a very thick oil very easy to spread. My bag was smooth and beautiful when done. I use saddle soap first to clean my bag then use this to condition it. it worth the price great product.

Finally a leather care product that works!
I purchased this with the intention to use on a couple of heavier worn areas in my 6 y/o Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit interior, like the drivers seat and console. I have tried several automotive leather interior, "rejuvenation" and cleaner/care products with some reasonable success, like Sonax, Adam's, Chemical Guys etc... but most seem to be impressive in the first 24-48 hours and then as days go on, that new rich leather look starts to dissipate and back to its aged worn look. i am not sure if mine being a dark brown leather shows more than say black does but I find mine to get quite dull in appearance, even kind of chalky. This Leather balm was very easy to apply. I ended up apply to every square inch of my interior. It takes very little product and spreads very easily. Follow the instructions and let sit the recommended amount of time, and just to make sure you do not have any excess that might leave some oily residue, just buff very lightly with a clean microfiber towel and voila. I have now had this applied for three weeks and it is still holding that nice new color richness that I was looking for, without being overly glossy or saturated with goopy chemicals. I am very impressed. As far as the heavily worn areas, i mean it did reduce the appearance slightly. Its kind of like trying to hide the lines and wrinkles in our face. You are not going to eliminate them, however it was definitely improved over previous and I suspect continual applications will only aid in longevity now. I think this a very good maintenance product, and only wish I had owned the vehicle sooner in its life and this would have kept the leather looking 100 percent new.

A little goes along way.
This is an excellent product for leather products easy to use and a little goes along way. On the photo the right hand side has been treated the left has not been, I think the photo says all
