M-Tac Military Fleece Jacket Men - Tactical Fleece Hoodie - Survival Sweatshirt

Arrived today. I inspected zippers and seams and then tried it on. I'm 6'1", 225 lbs. Ordered XL. Fit is good. I won't know if it is a stand alone jacket until I wear it in sub freezing climate. I suspect it could be a stand alone. However, there is enough room to do a little layering if necessary. This jacket is very well constructed with heavy fleece material, and with a heavy double zipper up the front. Some of the outstanding features are pit zips, lots of pockets, a hood that has draw strings, velcro cuff tighteners, and a waist draw string. I've been looking for a hooded jacket like this, and have ordered a couple from Amazon and returned them. The quality and features of this jacket justify paying the 20 bucks extra for it over the others I've looked at.

It is difficult to find clothing that is not made in China. These are made in the Ukraine where it gets cold! The stitching and material is impeccable. As a single layer with just a long sleeve shirt it is comfortable to 5 degrees Celsius and is very windproof. I normally take a small medium. Medium jackets are sometimes too big. This jacket is sized to be able to wear one or 2 layers underneath. The main zipper is a 2 way zipper and all zippers are good quality. Hood is a perfect size and has a good bungie draw string. There is a bungie draw string at the waist as well. Storm flaps at the main zipper are generously sized. I ordered one for my wife as well as another in small for myself. The medium I will use for hunting with and without layers. All in all, this is as good a jacket as it gets and is quite reasonably priced!Edit: I have bought 3 now. One for my wife and 2 for me. One of mine will be used for hunting and the other for daily use.

These are well made and the sizes are normal. I am 182cm tall and 95kg. XL is. Perfect fit.. could wear light extra layers under, if needed.. very warm

Second M-tac product I’ve bought first was a watch cap and it was decent a little small for being a large but Europe and “west” sizes are different still for a medium it’s pretty good I used to wear a soft shell everywhere I went to block wind but this does it just as well. My friend also has a condor alpha fleece this is the same if not better quality downside is pocket zippers are cheaper made than main zipper, no pockets on the inside although there’s a place for headphones cords other than those two I may have to buy another for how good these are.Also as you can see from pics there no MTAC LOGO on the front lower right or on the left side
