Very large, but excellent purchase!
UPDATE:After being in labor with this- I can say it was a game changer! It made it super easy for my midwife to check me and fetal tones and was very comfy. It also is AMAZING for post-partum for the midwife to check on me, and for nursing. I love that there are so many buttons and Velcro strips so you can open as little or as much as you need. EXACTLY what I needed/wanted.The comfort, quality and design are all absolutely perfect!! The material is very soft and stretchy/flexible, but not see-through at all. It's absolutely gigantic; even in my 3rd trimester. I am 5' tall and on the smaller side so it would've been nice if they had an x-small/petite size. I could easily fit a basketball with my preggo belly and still have room, and the gown comes all the way down to a few inches above my ankle.Over all, I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy again, but I definitely would have been happier if there was a smaller size.

Must have for hospital bag!
For reference: I'm wearing a s/m/l. I'm 5'2 and 145lbs at 36 weeks.I'm currently pregnant with our fourth child. I previously bought a cute hospital gown for my second. I only wore it in postpartum for a short bit and it just was not comfortable, because of the material. It also was not convienent with the snaps down the back. Because of this, I didn't worry about the cute gown with our third and just wore the hospital gown. When I found out about the Kindred Bravely gown, I was so excited to try it. I was not planning on getting a gown but after reading about the soft knit, pockets and Velcro front I decided to splurge and buy one. I was so excited for the soft material because my last gown was stiff and it does not disappoint. I was nervous about the fit but fell in love when I put it on. While it is loose, it definitely flatters way more than a hospital gown. I really want to wear it right now but have packed it in my hospital bag so that it's clean and ready to go. I can't wait to be able to use this during labor and delivery!I also love that I will get tons of use out of this postpartum as well. It will be so convienent to nurse in. I also feel like it will give me some semblance of feeling good and put together during the early newborn haze.I would totally recommend this gown as necessity to your hospital bag or a perfect gift for a baby shower.

A worthwhile gift for yourself
While I’m not one to buy something I’ll only wear once, this splurge was entirely worth it (and so affordable). I had planned to just buy a large nightgown to wear in the hospital but this was a MUCH better option. It is soft like a T-shirt and fits much more comfortably than the hospital gown which constantly shifts and is too large in the shoulders. This kept me contained and comfortable for the two days in the hospital following my C section. It was more comfortable for breastfeeding than the hospital gown as well, didn’t have to expose everything with guests in the room!! Even the nurses complimented it, for its easy access for them as well as it’s more stylish appearance (compared to a hospital gown). This will become my new go-to gift for expecting mothers. Size note—at 160lbs pre delivery, the regular size fit me perfectly with a little room to spare; there are two sets of Velcro enclosures to adjust for larger or smaller.

nice and soft and cheery
I got the xl/xxl size as I'm just into the xl size based on the chart, and it's a little roomier than I think I will need it to be, but better that than too snug. It is pretty soft and cozy feeling. I'm due in November with my second and I'm looking forward to having something other than the hospital gown to wear. I read a bunch of opinions during my first pregnancy that buying a specific labor and delivery gown was a waste of money, so I didn't bother then. But looking back on it I wish I had just for the chance to have something convenient to wear that still felt like "not hospital" clothes so I didn't feel so much like an invalid.I really like the pockets and I like that the velcro down the front has an extra row so it can sort of self-hem and be worn open like a robe without the scratchy velcro catching on stuff. I can definitely also see wearing this around the house as a cozy robe when it starts to get cooler. The pink polka dot pattern is bright and cheery without being too garish. =)

Perfect
This gown is awesome. I am so sad it took me until baby #8 to find it. It is affordable (up to this point I could only find a gown for $80 or more -- this one was right around $30, affordable to my budget.) It is great quality. Thick, comfortable, great accessibility. And it has POCKETS! I wore it today for labor and absolutely LOVED it. So bright and cheery. And I am actually still in it this evening as it is so convenient to pull open for nursing and skin-to-skin time. Super comfy. Great fit. Very very very pleased customer here. -- Kindred Bravely makes great products. You can't go wrong with this brand. And if something is not right for you, they are there to fix it/solve the problem.

Needs quality control!! Moldy gown! :(
This is my 2nd purchase from Kindred Bravely, so I was so excited about this gown, but when I opened it, it smelled like it had been sitting in a grandma’s musty basement for 50 years. The tissue paper and card that was folded into the gown was moldy and disintegrated onto the material.I’m 9 days away from my due date, and didn’t want the hassle of exchanging it, and risk not having a gown.I scratched off as much moldy paper as possible and put it in the washing machine. It still smelled awful. So I hand-washed it in the sink with a ton of detergent (TWICE), and it STILL smelled musty. So I put it back in the washing machine, by itself, on HOT, and it finally got the moldy smell out.The color faded a bit after the 4 washes, but the material IS soft and comfortable. It will be nice to wear in the hospital.I’m 5’6” (150lbs at almost 39 weeks), 40” bump, and the S/M/L fits just fine.Great gown... I just am very disappointed in the mold issue in their storage facility. This makes me hesitant to order from Kindred Bravely again.

Super comfortable!
I wanted to get something comfortable to wear for after delivery & easy to nurse in. A friend from the states recommended this so I ordered one to give it a try & it is so comfortable! I got a s/m/l & it fits a little on the bigger side, but my 15week baby bump hasn’t really “popped” yet, so I’m sure once it does it won’t be so big on me. Lol. It’s a little on the longer side for me but I’m only 5’2. It is super comfortable & easy to open for nursing. It also has pockets which is amazing! 😊 great purchase, would recommend.

Great value and cute
Awesome gown for labour. Easily to take off and also nurse without revealing your entire upper body. IV inserted and could easily take off gown without worrying about IV.

Comfy
When expecting with our second baby, I had been eyeing these up but couldn’t get myself to pay the price. Finally My Husband told me to just buy it. It was very comfortable for early labor. I didn’t use it for the actual birth because I wanted to keep it clean for afterward. It was very comfortable to wear for nursing and so much more comfortable than a hospital gown. I felt much more covered than I did wearing a hospital gown. My midwife thought it was great and had no problem with me wearing it. Wearing it for taking blood pressure was absolutely not a problem at all. Overall I highly recommend. Only reason one star was taken off, was because it came with one snap broken. But that was no problem for me since I just bought one and put it on myself. I suspect that was just a manufacturing error and not reflective of their quality as a company.

Super cute
Super cute & comfy. Great alternative to hospital gowns. Opens down the front for easy access for hospital monitors. Sides come down for breastfeeding purposes

Worth buying.
Love this! From my pregnancy from 26 weeks up to my postpartum, this is definitely a big help specially if you are breastfeeding.
