I was going on a short weekend trip with my family and wanted to be able to watch my pet while being away. I found this little camera on Amazon, at a great price and with good reviews. so, I went ahead and bought it.The camera comes with a set of instructions, and a USB power adapter with approximately 6' of USB cable. To quickly test the camera operation, you will first plug in the camera and download the Osaio app as instructed in the manual. The app will take you through a registration process, and it will give you step by step instructions to add the proper camera model (P1) and then connect to your Wi-Fi network. You use the app to operate the camera using Wi-Fi, move the lens to different angles, change the motion and night vision settings, listen to the surroundings and use the microphone on your device to speak. I would recommends moving as far as possible from the camera while doing the tests to avoid hearing noisy feedback from your device's mic when it is too close to the camera speaker. Once you are comfortable with the location and operation of the camera, you have to decide whether or not you want to record any video.The camera has several options to record video:- Using your mobile device's video recording: You have to manually activate the recording through the mobile device using the app; the video obtained from the camera will record to your mobile device. This is not the optimal option because it has to be activated manually, and it consumes significant storage space from your device.- Using a MicroSD card (not included): The camera has a MicroSD slot right below the lens. I would recommend placing a 64Gb or larger MicroSD storage card. With the MicroSD card inserted, you can record live video 24x7. When storage runs out, it will start overwriting on top of the oldest recordings on a continuous loop; no need to replace or add more storage.- Using Osaio's cloud storage - This is a paid option, and it offers some additional services to the customer depending on how much you pay.I purchased and added a MicroSD card to record video and audio. When I go out of town, I use my app with my mobile phone to watch my cat live and talk to him. I can also control the camera angle, zoom in and out and take quick snapshots or short videos from the app while I watch him. In addition, I can rewind to an earlier time to check on him at specific times, like when he's running to get his food at different times throughout the day. I can do this from anywhere at any time. Night vision works great as well. The camera detects light levels and sets the proper brightness automatically according to lighting.I highly recommend this camera. It has all the basic features you need to view and record; it is simple to set up and use and it is quite reliable. The capability of using it from anywhere (from home or any other city) using a mobile device is one of the most useful features in my opinion.

The media could not be loaded. This GNCC P1 camera is undeniable the best I have come across for its little size and its value for your bucks. It fits right in the palm of your hands. The video quality awesome very clear and the night vision is also great. The P1 camera rotates 360 degrees. The remote control feature within the app is easy to handle. The camera will take less than 5 minutes to connect if you have an idea of what your doing. The two -way audio the sound is so crisp. Another fun feature which I love with this GNCC P1 camera is the smart detection, I really love the fact that you have full control of the sensitivity of the motion sensor to set it to whatever sensitive level you desire. You can turn your sensitivity level way up and you'll be able to detect the motion of even a bug flying around in the space. This camera also comes with a mounting plate and screws so you can afix it at your desired location. I really recommend this GNCC P1 camera it is a value for your money, you can't go wrong with this camera it lives upto all the expectations. Along with the exceptional performance of the cameras , the GNCC customer service agents hats off to them they will go above and beyond to see to it that you the customer is happy and satisfied with their products. If there should be an issue their quick response time and problem solving skills always finds a amicably solution to fix each problem. I tried a few other cameras fromAmazon and was frustrated with support and connection issues. I finally tried this one and really liked the fact that it’s easy to connect and use. Customer support was so much easier and helpful.I love the fact that they can Track movement. The app is very easy to use.I would recommend these.

In the beginning it looked like it was going to be a really good camera. It recorded everything. It notified me if something was in the room. But then all of a sudden I stopped getting notifications. I did a lot of maintenance check and couldn't figure out why. And then my USB drive that I stuck in it corrupted. I contacted the staff many times and I kept getting the runaround and they never really provided information that made things work. Now it's useless. It's still works when it comes to looking at it. But it records nothing. It erased all my database that I had stored. I'm just wondering if something in the unit corrupted my USB drive? I'm really disappointed.

I purchased the device in November 2022. It's been in use since then without any issues. I did not opt in for any extended product warranty or support. Last month I unplugged it to move to a different spot. After resetting, the device failed to connect to wifi. After several failed attempts, I contacted the technical support for help. Without fail, I was sent a link for their senior technical support lead Elijah . After a couple of email exchanges, Elijah quickly diagnosed the issue. It was user error(my mistake!) in omitting the password entry in the dialog box after reset. His prompt response and attention to the details saved me time and money. Sure the product documentation can be improved for troubleshooting, be more intuitive. But, having a person to contact, help and fix the issue is priceless :-) Thank you, Elijah and Osaio product team.

The camera itself has been great and simple to set up and use, a wonderful camera for the price. We've also had a fairly easy time using the app as well. My husband and I have both been able to login on our separate devices so we can check on our kitties any time we want while we're away :)I did have an issue with the app and our Oasio subscription, so I contacted support. Elijah was fantastic and responded very quickly! He was so polite and professional, and was able to get the issue taken care of right away with no problems.Can't recommend the camera, and esp Elijah, enough!

La camera si vede bene, anche di notte, rapporto qualità prezzo davvero al TOP.L'app è fatta molto bene e non obbliga ad aclun abbonamento cloud, e anche qui siamo al TOP.Dal venditore su amazon c'è scritto PTZ nella descrizione ma il movimento verticale non è possibile da app.Rapporto qualità prezzo veramente super.C'è poi anche la possibilità di interagire con microfono e sentire l'audio.Davvero niente male.

Llevamos 4 años comprando la misma marca, el primero fue una cámara más básica hace bastante la cual nos duró una barbaridad, la calidad es genial, no tiene nada que envidiarle a cámaras mucho más caras y de marcas reconocidas, tiene visión nocturna, audio y micrófono para hablar a través de la cámara. Nosotros lo usamos como “monitor de bebé”, después de 3 años usando la primera sufrió una aparatosa caída y decidimos comprar la misma marca dado su alta calidad y bajo precio.

Good picture and sound quality. Can speak through it and it rotates to pan the room. Shame you can’t remotely move it up and down. Also you have to pay a monthly fee for the app, which I didn’t know when I bought it.
