Works well as expected

These envelopes are very good since their sheet is thick and they have an adhesive strip to stick them on.

Very convenient and good quality and quantity

They're a little thinner than my last batch, but other than that, they're your standard #10 security envelopes. Nothing shocking there.When I opened the box they seemed to have packed a bit in shipping. Just out of curiosity, I decided to count them because it juuuust didn't seem like 500. And whaddya know there's 485. A 3% rate. They're probably measured by weight, so 3% is ridiculous, almost like it was on purpose. I can see 5 missing, but 15 is a lot. If I bought a box of 40 and I was missing 15 I'd be pretty mad. I use these for business, so they're going to be used up pretty quickly and missing 15 is annoying.A 3% rate for every customer adds up to a pretty significant savings for the manufacturer.Buyer beware.

The Mead envelopes are 20 lb., so they are thinner. This is good for mailing, less weight. Security envelopes, they're sheer so the security printing pattern is a bit see through, but it's not a big deal. The paper works quite well with fountain pens. Always use pens with water resistant ink when addressing envelopes!The adhesive is not the best, but so far no one told me my letter arrived open. The adhesive strip is only in the middle of the flap, roughly half an inch from each end has no adhesive and with rougher sorting machines, it can open. If you want to make sure it arrives unopened, close those ends with some tape. I wouldn't worry though, unless it's very stuffed, it has to hold. I'm not sure if I would buy again, but so far I like them very much.

Ordered and arrived the same day. Envelopes were not as thick as the ones I ordered that said Amazon on the box, however they will do. Also the box stated 20 pound weight. I know that 20 pound weight paper is light so I should have know that the envelopes would also be lighter then the ones I usual purchase. But all in all a good purchase. I have not put then through the printer as to date.

Good quality, peel off envelopes. Paper is nice stock, not sheer or cheap. What else do you want in envelopes? The box is big but will last us a few years without issues. We buy the Mead envelopes because they’re reliable and last.
