These work great for holding sheet metal together on my old datsun. One of the small cleco wouldn't release fully and bent one of the retractable fingers inside.Outside of that experience these have worked great.

I had put off buying these for a long time thinking I could manage without them; but now that I have them I wouldn't want to be without! This kit has a good number of each of the most popular sizes for use in race car or other fabrication, and comes in a handy carry bag. Clecos make any kind of panel work easier whether body panels, tin work, or even Lexan windows. No more bulky C-clamps or vice grips since the Clecos locate the workpiece accurately and securely while fitting and fabricating. I suppose if you were doing sheet metal fab all the time you'd want more, and perhaps some of the special sizes, but for my small shop this is perfect. If you do any kind of sheet metal work I'd recommend getting these.
