Where do I begin? My son (whom was born in May 2022) had undetected Trisomy 21 (or for those who know it by the more commonly used title, Down Syndrome) which wasn’t picked up on until 2 weeks post-birth once genetic tests confirmed. Anyway, my youngest niece adores him whole heartedly. So when Christmas began to roll up, I pondered on what to get her and then had the sudden idea of purchasing her a doll that resembled my son.Delivery was amazingly fast and on top of that, when I unboxed him, there was no unpleasant chemical smell (which you get with some online purchased items). Instead, the doll had a pleasant baby powder scent. On top of this, as a mother of Down Syndrome baby, I must say that the features of the doll are very accurate as well to those who have the condition in the real world. Which is very heart warming to see.I showed the doll to my son before putting it away safely and his little face lit up in a smile, which I’d like to imagine was from seeing the doll looked like him! He is currently 6 months old.I would 100% recommend this doll for anyone who wants their child to understand inclusion and diversity— or even if it’s for your child who has Down Syndrome to make them feel included. Whatever the reason for your purchase, do it!But I will prewarn people that the doll does come naked! So you will have to purchase your own clothing for him. But if your child/the gift recipient already has dolls to begin with im sure those items of clothing would universally fit just as good.

The product is beautiful I got as a gift present for my 5 year old cousin with Down syndrome , I am just disappointed as it doesn’t comes with the clothes and I was trusting in the picture with the hoodie and trousers . I don’t think that this info is clear in the advertisement. Should sell at a higher price and put the full set for sale to avoid misunderstanding.

Really lovely quality abd so nice to find a dolly with features of Down’s syndrome that is as nice as our other nursery dolls.

I bought this doll for my daughter who has special needs. It’s so adorable and life-like, with lovely, detailed facial features. My daughter started role-playing as soon as I handed it to her, and she’s VERY happy with her new baby!
