9.6" Tanto Fixed Blade Knife - Best Outdoor Camping,Hunting Tactical Survival Knife W/Sheath

This is an excellent "fighter" knife, especially for the price. I bought this on a whim because I liked how it looked, and I was pleasantly surprised by the design and quality. No, this is not a "Tanto" knife, it is more like a Persian fighter with its curved blade and wicked trailing point. The design makes it pretty inefficient for an EDC or outdoors knife, but if you want a good fighter design, especially if you practice SE Asian MAs, this is it. If anyone plans to carry this, I recommend throwing out the fake leather sheath (yes it's fake) and having one made in kydex for a more secure, thin and variable carry.

The media could not be loaded. This blade is sharp and very sturdy. My boyfriend’s favorite. This is a pretty nice size blade, it’s so clean I can see my reflection. The overall craftsmanship was great.

It's a very good looking knife. Looks to be made well and would work very good as a skinning and boning knife. It takes a good edge but is doesn't quite hold a razor edge like a higher carbon blade. It's advertised as a 60 hardness but it may be slightly softer on the edge, possibly more around 55. The sheath seems to be good quality leather of a solid design. Overall a good knife for just over $21.00. I would recommend for a hunter or a Japanese knife collector that wants a cheap functional knife.

Came out of the box wicked sharp and shaving hairs with ease, the mirror polish is pretty good but there was a little warping near the handle, using it to cleave branches and chip wood was a breeze for the price.

Exactly what is pictured. A lil small but overall amazing D2 blade for the price range. You won't be disappointed.
